Hitler was a community organizer, FDR was a Governor.

After hearing the Democrats say that stupid thing, I thought I was back in kindergarten. Then they cry that they want to talk about “the issues”!

Brokaw and all of the Obama cultists reveal their immense ignorance of history, Christianity, and the New Testament.

It has frequently been a source of frustration to left-wing activists over the past two centuries that in fact Jesus Christ did NOT have some big message of “progressive activism” in this world and that in many respects the body of Christian belief (not to mention the actual life of Jesus) is too “other worldly” to serve major political activism ala Obama.

So the left continually tries to re-write the Christian gospels to produce what they believe the message of Jesus OUGHT to have been. This can be seen in the last century in the “social gospel” movement of Walter Rauschenberg and everything that followed.

This is not to deny that there are many programs of “good works” organized by all sorts of Christian churches of varying outlooks (liberal, conservative, etc.), but to pretend that the main focus of the life of Jesus Christ and his teachings was to demonstrate ACORN-style activist programs for the contemporary political socialist left is simply preposterous.

Actually, Jesus was never a community organizer but the Pharisees were.

A button on Cafe Press: “Pontius Pilate let the people decide”.

The blasphemy of “Jesus was a community organizer” is dangerous. If Obama were a true Christian, he’d know better than to let his minions say this. There’s a lot these people are going to have to answer for in the hereafter. Wouldn’t wanna be ‘em.

This is the line Sarah Palin should go Lloyd Bentsen on them:

"I served with Jesus. I know Jesus. Jesus is a friend of mine. Senator, you are no Jesus."
