How distasteful was Donna Brazile's line about Jesus being a community organizer and Pontius Pilate a governor for purposes of making an invidious comparison between Barack Obama and Sarah Palin? Enough that even ardent Obama-phile Chris Matthews rapped Dem congressman Steve Cohen's knuckles for repeating it on the House floor.
But, incredibly, when Rudolph Giuliani appeared on Meet the Press today, Tom Brokaw used the same line to confront Rudy over comments in his GOP convention speech about Obama's community organizing. Brokaw went so far as to display a button [screencap after jump] bearing the phrase. Brokaw might just as well have been wearing it.

So much for those who told us that guys like Brokaw were shamed by the behavior of MS-NBC. This would seem to put Brokaw in the moonbat camp.
BTW, this is more Dim disrespect for the electorate. Pilate was APPOINTED by the Roman Emperor. Palin was of course ELECTED by the Alaskan electorate. If these Dims had any respect for representative government, they would have noticed this distinction.
I thought Giuliani took down Brokaw like I’ve never seen Brokaw taken down before. Made His Emminence look like a bufoon imo.
Word was that Tom Brokaw had Keith Olberman bounced from live election coverage because Brokaw was embarrassed by the lack of objectivity. Now we can see that Brokaw was just a jealous, little girl getting rid of her competition.

Well that and their last two hypocrat presidents were both governors....Jimmuh Cahtuh and Bubba Klintoon.
1. Help people find new jobs.
2. Register people to vote, or get involved in politics.
3. Work for the Democrat political machine in Chicago.
4. Host "get out the vote" efforts.
or any of the other things Barack Obama did as a member of ACORN or whatever its called.
Jesus Christ was a teacher (they called him Rabbi), Savior, Redeemer, Healer, the Son of God, Messiah. He has been called the Rose of Sharon, the Mighty One, Prince of Peace, Lord of Lords and King of Kings, Wonderful Councilor, Lamb of God, the Bright and Morning Star, the King of Glory.
They know that when people read things it sticks in their heads.
I sure hope thats getting out to all the Secretaries of State around the country. After 2000, Katherine Harris, SoS FLA, found 40,000 New Yorkers registered to vote in both states by the lengthy process of comparing voter lists. 40,000!!! And to think they were down there vainly examining chads to try to find 300 votes for Albert Gore. Needless to say, there have been no close elections since.
This “Jesus was a community organizer” thing could very easily backfire if McCain handles it correctly. I could be wrong but I don’t think the evangelicals are going to appreciate the Democrat candidate allowing himself to be compared to Christ. Similarly, given the discomfort many people feel about the cultish behavior of the Obamatarians, trying to imbue a politician with an aura of divinity is a dangerous tactic.
You can be sure that not one member of "The Body of Christ" will cast a vote for Obummer.
Brokaw is a puke.
Amen!
The Dems think that they ‘own’ the Jewish vote.
I watched Meet the Press tonite (I had tivo’d it earlier).
I was astonished to see Brokaw trot that pin out. I thought it had been proven to be so offensive that the Obama campaign would have wished they’d never use it.
Maybe they didn’t; maybe it was surrogates.
It is really stupid because it’s another one of those things put out by the dems and used by dozens of lackeys who seemed to think it was clever.
The whole thing managed to insult Jesus, Christians, and 50 governors in ten words.

This is such BS! Jesus, even if you don't think He was the Son of God, was not a community organizer. What community are they referring to? The Man travelled: He went from place to place proclaiming the Kingdom of God. He organized a team to do the work of proclamation. it is just nonsense to compare that to being a community organizer.
Interesting. Texas Darlin’s blog has been all over the Obama birth certificate issue. Now she’s doing an ACORN/Obama expose. TD is a Hillary supporter.
