NEW YORK, NY -- Rosie O’Donnell has taken aim at Republican vice presidential hopeful Sarah Palin, comparing her to a former co-worker and questioning the Alaskan Governor’s decision to run for office in light of her recent family issues.
In a host of responses to questions from readers on her “Ask Ro” blog, the vocal star compared the candidate to her former “View” co-panelist, conservative Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
“sarah p - elisabeth h / identical cousins,” O’Donnell reportedly blogged on Saturday. “women who hunt in high heels / gives one pause.”
When asked if she believes “Palin is genuine,” by reader Kim, O’Donnell continued her Hasselbeck-Palin connection.
“what u see is what u get with her / she reminds me of eh,” she wrote.
O’Donnell went beyond just comparing the two women, calling into question the Governor’s decision to run for vice president when, among other things, Palin’s 17-year-old daughter, Bristol, is only months away from giving birth.
“I work for Sarah Palin and cannot tell you how down to earth this lady is! I am [proud] and so is the rest of Alaska that she was chosen,” Heather, a Rosie.com reader wrote.
“if i were her - and i am not / i would have said no [if] I [had] a newborn son and a pregnant teen,” O’Donnell responded.

I must relate this story about Rosie.
I worked on the TV show “Judging Amy.”

She was going to be on the set for several days and she had her own trailer, which is basically a 24’ travel trailer like you would use to go camping.
They have TWO steps that drop down so that you can get into the tailer...one, two steps and your through the door.
But, that wasn’t good enough for Queen Rosie...she demanded that the producers have the construction department build a huge wooden structure with steps that led to a 5’ x 5’ platform with handrails that would allowed her to walk straight into the trailer.
Again she was going to be on the set for ONE episode....
I have worked on numerous other shows and have NEVER seen anything remotely close to this type of request.
I better stop now before I let my feelings about this person slip out.
Since when did Rosie compliment people like Elisabeth and Sarah?

Rosie...try being nice for a change. Try it...you might even like it. Try smiling like the lovely and fun Gov. Palin does. You might like that too.
What is your problem anyway? Seems you have everything that would make you happy but...there truly is something lacking. So, please Rosie...stay quiet for awhile. Your remarks are so outrageous and loud and uncalled for. What is your point dear? What are you trying to say? Don’t YOU have it all? Children, TV talk show, comedy show, blog, etc? If it is good enough for you...why not Governor Palin?
Oh yes... I remember now...you HAD it all until you decided to be continually hateful to anyone who disagreed with you but Gov Palin is kind, nice, sweet, beautiful and on top of all of that...she is going to be our next Vice President of the United States. I forgot.
