State: Pennsylvania

Updated: 9/13/2008

Summary: McCain - 49.1% Obama - 44.3% Not Sure/Other - 6.6%

"This is a classic case of polling as a snapshot in time. We're turning Pennsylvania purple today, as McCain takes a small edge. But as in Ohio, we are watching this closely and things could change in this classically blue state."

I don't know whether this is accurate or not, obviously. However, I do know this. The Democrats, ObaHamas' campaihgn, and ObaHamas himself, are moving beyond hysterical, verging on psychotic.

Their internal polling is scaring the shite out of them. Note the reports beginning to trickle out that congressional Dems are now openly concerned about losing House seats, and about McCain's coattails!

Must be those bitter Pennsylvanians clinging to their guns and religion...

I don't think Pennsylvanians outside of Philly appreciated Obomber's comments at all, and they will let him know about it on November 4.

Also Sarah Palin is undoubtedly attractive to lots of Pa voters, and Todd Palin may be part of that.

I predict that the Philidelphia polls will remain open until the deciding Obama vote is cast. It could be Nov. 14th, but they’ll get a judge somewhere to hold them open.

PA folks should be insulted this dope Biden claims to be one of them. Possibly a repudiation is forthcoming...

I suspect Rendell and the Clinton Machine are quietly passing the word in PA that Obama is a crispy critter.

He also has Obama up by 1.5% in New Mexico and by 2% in Colorado

No, that poll has McCain up by 2% in Colorado. But oddly, it has Obama up by 1.5% in North Carolina. However, McCain is ahead in EVs if the "too close to call" states are counted.

The generic congressional ticket has been as low as 4 this week.

How strange, none of the blue states in that map have been updated since 7/8 except for Michigan.

HUGE if true. No real scenario where Obama can win without PA.

Exactly. If on November 4th McCain wins in PA, it's over...early.

The only thing I’m using to measure how things are going is the Panicmeter at Camp Obama! From what I’m seeing, things must be going pretty good for our side.

It is likely voters but it’s also PA and Zogby. At least the trend is hopeful and I’ll cling to that for now.

Granted it is Zogby. Take it with a huge grain of salt, but very interesting to say the least.

OK .. but all I can say upon reading the headline is: WHOH!

McCain needs to go to the blue collars workers in PA, OH and MI with a strong economic plan. He needs to lay out a specific job growth agenda. He can win this.

Don’t worry, the dead will be voting in Philadelphia to counter this.

Great results, but i don’t think Mac is up 5 points in PA. I’d say it’s neck and neck. But I definitly think McCain has got a great shot to carry the state. All the blue collar workers and small town floks there are turned off by Obama’s elitism. But there are too many leftist in Philadelphia and the surrounding area to off set their votes. Bush narrowly losthe state twice. Maybe Mac can be the guy pull the Republicans over the top there.
