This Oct 26 1967, file photo provided by the Library of Congress shows Navy fighter pilot John McCain, center, being captured by Vietnamese civilians in Truc Bach Lake near Hanoi Vietnam. McCain was tortured and imprisoned for more than five years, and eventually awarded the Silver Star, Bronze Star, Legion of Merit, Purple Heart, Distinguished Flying Cross Medal, and Prisoner of War (POW) Medal. Prodded on the 2008 campaign trail to talk about his compelling personal story, the Republican presidential candidate usually demurs. "I'm very reluctant to do so, as you know," McCain says.

The adolescents in Barama's campaign should really be ashamed of themselves...

But I'm sure they aren't.

Just how the heck did anyone get a picture of McCain getting rescued... These folks don't look like the type to just happen to carry a camera on them during war.
