Just adding a few links with pictures to this thread even though it is days past Ike’s landfall but many will be involved with Ike’s destruction for months to come.

Again major damage was the result of flooding/water as opposed to wind in the total scheme of the storm. The wind did damage but flooding/surges did the worst damage as best as I can tell.

Hi ya’ll, I'm finally back. We got our power back on Saturday and our AT&T back an hour ago. I feel like a stranger in a strange land. I hope I never have to go through anything like this again.
