Any word as to whether any Army helo units might be involved in SAR/relief operations? I have a nephew in the Army at Hood who crews a CH-47, and I’m wondering if they’re going to be using him.

I haven’t seen any mention of CH-47s being employed - mostly it is Blackhawks.

I heard a report earlier that said they were bringing in several Black Hawks for SAR...I don’t recall from where.

I saw 4 Black Hawks fly over on Friday. Looked like they were traveling from Ft. Hood to the coast. I’m just north of Austin.
