I am listening to a HAM Radio net and there is a station up on Galveston but the airwaves are atrocious and I am prolly to close so the signal is gonna skip over me. I cant get a copy on the report. But they are transmitting!

Try scanamerica.us They have scanner feeds out of Houston and Galveston - though Galveston went off air yesterday. Haven't checked it today.

Local scanner (Illinois) just reported a car submerged with occupant inside.

It would be great if you could relate to us any ham radio info you are able to get from Galveston or points west and east of there. Great to hear there’s someone transmitting.
