Can't believe some of the FOX coverage.....yesterday they interviewed a woman - Marissa McMinn - who had defied the evacuation order, got stuck (on the roof of a house, I think); had to be rescued along with several other family members. When asked why she stayed she replied "He, he, he...I don't know".

Today they talked to three local worthies - who had also stayed in Galveston and the interviewer referred to them as "brave".

Shortly after this gem of an interview the guest in the studio was none other than Michael Brown - the disgraced former head of FEMA.

Sorry Fox - no Emmy for this one.

Fox is not alone in this “no Emmy”...

The reporters should all be calling people who stayed in low areas “foolish”... asking, “So what possessed you to make such a foolish decision to stay?”
