It is a hit piece.....I thought it was going to be an interview. Why did they ever agree to this?????
MSNBC talking points so far.

The lead in was a hatchet job. But Sarah came back at Charlie without hesitation ... no uh, uh, uh, uh ...
She did a great job.
I wonder what the viewing audience numbers were?
I think Sarah did about as well as she could given an incredibly antagonistic interview. In a way, maybe it’s good, because he was so disgustingly condescending that he became more the story than her.
I remember the same thing happening with Reagan. He won because he talked directly to the people (screw the media), and the people liked him because of his authenticity, the same qualities that Sarah has. She is forthright, genuine, and strong - I really like her, and think she will make a great VP and eventually President.
In the mean time, the best defense is an offense, and so Obama needs to be attacked AS HARD AS POSSIBLE. No letting up on this guy, as the media will only do him every favor they can. I hope McCain continues his negative attacks, and increases them.
it may not be so bad... i remember when Bush blew his first debate with Kerry... he ended up winning according to the public... and the same thing with his first debate with Gore... he didn't blow it, but the media thought Gore won... the public didn't, and that threw Gore off in the next debate... the media thinks they know better... but they are out of touch...
I don’t call McCains attacks negative, they call into question Obama himself.
“The lead in was a hatchet job. But Sarah came back at Charlie without hesitation ... no uh, uh, uh, uh ...”
My thoughts exactly. Every time he asked a question, without hisitation she was giving an answer. Obama would of looked like an idiot.
Sure, I agree. By negative, I don’t mean anything other than pointing out and highlighting negative aspects of Obama that are true.
Well, the Left wanted [and expected] her to fail miserably. She did not. A win for our side.
She did so well, ABC had to fabricate a hit job on her to intro the latest session! Had she failed somehwere, the fool directors would not have felt it necessary to send the vacuous brained Kate Snow out with a lying hitpiece to lead off the friday episode!
This was not an interview. This was a BODY SLAM.
Thank G-d it was Sarah Palin; she got the ball over the net every time and didn’t rattle much. It must feel terrible to know you are basically dancing at the barrel of a gun every day, but if she only knew that the rest of us are out here ready to take on this biased media with her (Go Rudy!), she would not lose her courage. You are not alone, Governor Sarah.
How dare the mainstream media even pretend to fairness? It’s not even a sham any more. There was not one puff question or one warm smile or act of kindness or decency on the part of Gibson. He was told to hit hard and shake her up, and G-d knows he tried.
One could almost formulate an answer the next time a Democrat “interviewer” queries her on her preparation to be President: “Why, [insert first name here], just answering these hardball questions over and over from you guys is definitely good practice for the Presidency!”
Why do we have to? Why are all the debates always moderated by the left? Why do we kiss the butts of these liberals in the media???
Holy Moley. He asked THOSE questions of Obama?? He makes Larry King look like Nurse Ratchet. That is almost an SNL caricature of an Obama interview.
“First question for you, Senator: Would you like anything? Can I get you something to drink? Are you comfortable?”
WE NEED TO KICK THE MEDIA’S TEETH IN. ENOUGH.
I will take a freaking NUMBER. When it's my turn, I start by breaking his condescending little glasses half down his nose...
PLEASE let this backfire. Let this be the first choking cough to begin the death throes of the whole liberal media establishment.
Laughing Quite Loudly!
I am reading Barack Obama's insightful book "The Audacity of Hope." I am not red state or blue state. I am seeking to stay as open-minded as possible about the candidates. However, I am appalled at the Gibson/Palin interview. I have been done with the 3 major networks for about 5 years now. I did not realize it had gotten this bad, honestly. Barack Obama is a good man. However, he has received wiffle-ball pitches in comparison to the 100 mph fastballs high and in that Governor Palin had to fight off. Big 3, it is back-firing!
Saw it on the WC. I'd give her a strong A minus. Almost never wavering. I rally couldn't give ANY other interviewee that score, either.
Yeah, yet another piece of trash. I loved how the reporterette went on about the so-called scandals involving our Sarah without even saying something like, “But the campaign has countered...” or “Supporters have said....”.
What a pathetic excuse for a journalist!

He does not even attempt to hide his contempt and disgust. Did you notice how he kept making the kind of face one would make when smelling something foul?
