Our polls are going to dip this weekend. It makes me so effing mad.

This I fear too. It's been my observation that big ugly attacks like this seem to work. Everyone says it will backfire but the media knows better.

Overall Gibson was clearly making presumptive statements and asking loaded questions and his demeanor came across as such. When he said Sarah had hired all the commissioners that were investigating her and Sarah kindly retorted that actually her predecessor had hired all the commissioners it was a direct slap to Gibson and his team of "researchers". Again many viewers said to themselves, "If Gibson and ABC were so completely wrong on a very basic fact like that what else were they misinformed about when forming/posing their questions."

Actually, I don't remember that from the tv interview. I think they cut that part. I'd like to think there will be a bit of a firestorm about so much being cut.

Not what she said (she was great!), but the hitjob intro was really bad. It was like 10 minutes of free advertising for DailyKos and Obama campaign.

It was nothing but re-hashed accusations that anyone who tuned in on purpose has already heard. If they kept watching, many were explained. THAT is excellent for us. The explanations from our side often get lost.

Dianna, you can be my VP pick any day.

Awww, aren't you sweet. I've gotten impatient with unfamiliar screen names pushing the Red Alert button. There are quite a few on each Sarah thread.

Copy of my editorial sent to 15 newspapers in Ohio, Pennslyvania and Michigan:

That's an excellent editorial you've written! I sure hope people in those three important swing states will read it...

Torie Clark dissing Palin.

Yeah, what was up with Torie Clark? She was more critical of Sarah Palin than Dee Dee Myers was.

Some post-interview "discussion" group... two Clintonites (Myers and George Steponallofus) and the Palin-dissing Clark. It was so disgusting and biased, it was laughable. I guess that's why Georgie couldn't wipe that stupid smirk off his face...

There is no intention to ASK informative questions, only tact I see is to DRIVE HOME LIBERAL/DEMOCRATIC TALKING POINTS! - DISGUSTING! DISGUSTING! DISGUSTING!

If she wasn't interviewed based on the Democrats' talking points, she wouldn't be so nicely able to shoot them down. I used to be a liberal; one factor in my waking up to the truth was an appearance of Rush Limbaugh, circa 1993, on Phil Donahue's show. Liberal host and liberal audience members asking liberal questions--not like the softballs Rush addressed on his own television program--and Rush was knocking them out of the park.

Gibson went out of his way to act as if he didn’t take her seriously. One would think the McCain camp had begged someone to interview her and ABC gave in. Gibson could have been professional about it, but regardless, Sarah performed beautifully.

Cokie Roberts, Susan Estrich and Geraldine Ferraro warned that the MSM was treading on unsafe waters. Thank God they didn't pay heed and the dems will feel the wrath of woman voters everywhere if this continues.

Yup. I haven't seen Cokie lately, but I have to admit I've found the comments of Estrich and Ferraro (on FNC) to be very interesting lately regarding Sarah Palin, and Campaign 2008 in general...

Gibson is such a smarmy, smug, metrosexual panderer.

What a pompous, arrogant, self-important toad.

He was all sugar and spice in his inteview with Obambi.

I don’t think the disparity in his demeanor towards the two sides will be lost on the American people.

It’s just too palpable.

If you look on CNN right now, you will see the line "Palin wants to overturn Roe v Wade". This is what happens after this kind of interview. Soundbites, headlines that are false. Why give them that opportunity to divert voters away who are not wise enough to find out the truth? I just don't think John on the View and this interview help Republicans.

If you were serious, you wouldn’t have posed this absurdity: “One would think the McCain camp had begged someone to interview her ...” Not holding better control over the mischaracterization potential shows the McCain braintrust is not as smart or savvy as they believe themselves to be. when a fool herd like ABC can ambush you, you’re a neophyte. Sarah did a great job, but she was used scurrilously with ABC fabrications and outright falsehoods.

I didn’t see the inquisition but following the thread made me think of a sermon of sorts I heard a bit ago. I searched google and found this tid bit. Summary, “I” am getting more comfortable with Sarah being out there with the likes of Gibson. She probably has been comfortable to some degree with getting out there more than we are. When she is sworn in on Jan. 20, 2009 she will enter a domain she has never been before..lots of challenges await her. Charlie is just getting her in shape.

To read the mini sermon see: http://www.rbc.org/bible-study/strength-for-the-journey/2008/01/04/daily-message.aspx

I think I’m glad I didn’t get to watch this tonight. Just reading about Gibson and his hatchet job have me clenching my teeth.

I didn’t think he could get worse than last night. Apparently I was wrong.

The great thing about this interview is that Sarah didn’t even need to do very well although she did do very well. The importance of this interview is the contrast between how the MSM(& Democrats & even more vile forms of moonbats) has tried to portray her and the reality of how she actually is. All she needed to do was come off as intelligent and reasonable.
