>I dont think it screams BS. I think it screams, I dont want to be in the spotlight and have other issues come out.<
That’s kind of what I meant.
My BS was referring to the whole investigation.
If he won’t come out and talk about it and all this talk of threats and tasers is true there is no doubt in my mind that Palin did the right thing not only for her family but the state of Alaska.
Love Ester’s story (father of three daughters) and hope Oba Mao ends up like Haman, politically speaking.
Don’t tase me, Pop! I’m only 10!
This should be a very easy issue to flip.
Barf meter on overload....I can't stand hearing the guy for one minute. Twelve years would be torture. (it really might be, but I hope not)
I agree with the posts here. Also, she was in a lose lose situation. If she did not act, she would have been accused of favortisum (sp). She did the right thing. No Worries.
where can i find those advance numbers from rass and zogby referenced
where are those advance numbers posted
sorry. this is my 1st time posting
surprise, surprise, a pick with obama.
i never would have thought.... /s
i hope that alaskans do.
think michelle will be subpeonaed about the numerous oddities of her husband? and her? (rhetorical)
Is Palin has such a high approval rate in Alaska, how do these elected officials get away with this?...won’t that be crushed by a revenge seeking public....one would hope so...
Defend that Demonrats and MSM!
Great post #38 - and a terrific prayer.
LLS
I hope you are right.
The whole thing just reminds me how the radical leftists that control the Rats want to criminalize all politics and politicians that disagree with them. It seems to me in a rational world that the second the trooper admitted he tasered his 10 yoa step son he would not only have been fired, but locked up.
One thing I keep reminding myself is how well and aggressive McCains campaign has been. He is fighting to win and when the lamestream media start pushing this in Oct. I'm sure he will respond with both guns blazing.
I think the spousal immunity doctrine applies only in criminal cases in some jurisdictions, and not at all in others.
One guess would be that she would have to object on these grounds before his testimony to assert spousal immunity, or waive the right. To the Obama campaign (for commercial purposes) and the national media, that would be a full admission of all guilt. I don't think she can go that route. I would tell her to lay out all the dirt on the trooper. From what I've heard, it's a lot more than tazing the kid. Just lay it out, with that pic of the investigator in front of the Obama for Prez sign. Most folks will see it for what it is. I think the current Lt. Gov. in Alaska did a decent job of putting this issue in perspective this morning on the Fox show.
You should qualify it, "most rational" folks. It is more and more apparent to me that the left is not only immature (wanting everyone else to be responsible for guaranteeing them a good life with no consequences for the decisions they make) but are irrational to the point of hating anyone who disagrees with their "righteous" cause (justifying slander and lying about their opponents).
That is certainly reasonable. :) The haters don't really "see" anything.
