Hannity mentioned this Guideline for Comprehensive Sexuality Education K-12 as being the base and foundation for SB99.

This is the quote I was looking for.
Developmental Messages:
Level 1 (ages 5-8)
Each body part has a correct name and a specific function.
A persons genitals, reproductive organs, and genes determine whether the person is male or female.
A boy/man has nipples, a penis, a scrotum, and testicles.
A girl/woman has breasts, nipples, a vulva, a clitoris, a vagina, a uterus, and ovaries.
Some sexual or reproductive organs, such as penises and vulvas, are external or on the outside of
the body while others, such as ovaries and testicles, are internal or inside the body.
Both boys and girls have body parts that feel good when touched.
This means nothing unless you know what 'age appropriate' means.
bump
Level 1 (age 5 through 8)
Men and women have reproductive organs that enable them to have a child.
Men and women have specific cells in their bodies (sperm cells and egg cells) that enable them to reproduce.
Reproduction requires that a sperm and egg join.
Vaginal intercourse when a penis is placed inside a vagina is the most common way for a sperm and egg to join.

Obama Says A Baby Is A Punishment
Obama: If they make a mistake, I dont want them punished with a baby.

I just scanned thorough SB99 and did not see anything about teaching Kindergartners about masturbation. Can someone direct me to the line#?
It appears to me that all of the instructional possibilities, but the bill also sytates theat application should be “age-appropriate.” While this is vague, I think it’s going too far to say that everything in the bill is to be taught to 5-year-olds.
I hate to put a damper on all this glee, but has anybody noticed that the most controversial parts of the Guideline for Comprehensive Sexuality Education K-12 are NOT in the bill?
Has anybody noticed the author of the Guideline is from the National Guidelines Taskforce?
Does anybody know what the National Guidelines Taskforce is? Is is supported by the federal government?
Does anybody know if the State of Illinois follows the Guidelines verbatim?
It appears to me unless there’s a direct link between the Guidelines and the State of Illinois that shows they would have used this, The One can talk his way out of this one.
Am I missing something?
I agree. See post right below you.
No.
Has anybody noticed the author of the Guideline is from the National Guidelines Taskforce?
And who is she? Well she is: Peggy Brick, M.Ed. Planned Parenthood of Greater Northern New Jersey.
Planned Parenthood. Who is Peggy Brick you ask? Well Peggy Brick wrote this. She also wrote Educating About Abortion.
She's also written a Lesson Plan for your children.
Is is supported by the federal government?
Indeed it is.

The language about masturbation isn’t in the bill. It is in the guidelines from SIECUS that are found in the links above:
http://www.siecus.org/_data/global/images/guidelines.pdf
And those VERY CLEARLY advocate for masturbation in its “Level 1” instruction. Here’s how the levels are defined in the document:
Developmental Messages:
Developmental messages are brief statements that contain the specific
information young people need to learn about each topic. For each topic, the Guidelines present developmental messages appropriate for four separate age levels which reflect stages of development. The levels are:
Level 1: middle childhood, ages 5 through 8; early elementary school
Level 2: preadolescence, ages 9 through 12; later elementary school
Level 3: early adolescence, ages 12 through 15; middle school/junior high school
Level 4: adolescences, ages 15 through 18; high school
[Now go forward in the document to about page 51, and check out what these disgusting reprobates have in mind for “age appropriate” materials for level one:]
Developmental Messages, Level 1
Most children are curious about their bodies.
Bodies can feel good when touched.
Topic 2:Masturbation
Subconcept: Masturbation is one way human beings express their sexuality.
Developmental Messages:
Level 1
Touching and rubbing ones own genitals to feel good is called masturbation.
Some boys and girls masturbate and others do not.
Masturbation should be done in a private place.
Topic 3:Shared Sexual Behavior
Subconcept: Individuals express their sexuality with a partner in diverse ways.
Developmental Messages:
Level 1
People often kiss, hug, touch, and engage in other sexual behaviors with one another to show caring and to feel good.
Topic 5:Human Sexual Response
Subconcept: Female and male bodies respond both similarly and differently to sexual stimulation.
Developmental Messages:
Level 1
Both girls and boys may discover that their bodies feel good when touched.
SB99 calls for sex education this young, but it doesn’t get into what that education will be. This document spells out EXACTLY what these disgusting perverts have in mind to teach to 5 to 8 year olds. All I posted above was the Level 1 stuff. The Level 2 and up stuff for the older kids is even more vile.
What a liar Obama is!Gomer Pyle sez ...
Shame! Shame! Shame!
“The wording about what is to be taught in Kindergarten is somewhat vague in the bill.”
That’s the problem. The bill is vague.
O claims that all he wanted to do was to protect them from predators.
Unless we can prove a direct connection that shows that he wanted the Guidelines adopted or that Illinois intended to adopt these Guidelines as part of the law, I think we run the risk of having this issue backfire on us.
It’s not good to give him this kind of out, because it makes us look like we’re just trying to distort the record. Middle of the road voters don’t like misleading ads.
Thanks for the info.
That’s nice, but I would feel a whole lot better if he was the author.
Good point. I can not find any place that shows the National Guidelines Task force (SIECUS) is being used in this bill.

Defending Their Candidate's Comments, The Obama Campaign Issued Document Citing Sex-Education Curriculum For Kindergarteners From The SIECUS And Oregon Department Of Education. “In addition, he issued a document showing that the Oregon Department of Education has guidelines for sex education for children in grades K-3 (which includes understanding the difference between a good touch and a bad touch), and that the Sexuality Information And Education Council of the United States [SIECUS] has curriculum for those in kindergarten.” (”Obama And Sex Ed For Kids,” NBC News’ “First Read,” firstread.msnbc.msn.com, Accessed 7/19/07)
Obama spokesman Bill Burton referred to the SIECUS as a model for age appropriate curriculm.
