I'll admit to some admiration for his showmanship.

I watched him during Hurricane Gustav encouraging his cameraman to step up on to a levee footing. I would not liked to have seen Geraldo's "daring" cause injury to somebody else.

Geraldo is a prima donna when the camera is on but as a friend/buddy he’s a much more regular guy than you’d think.
