I have been thinking about Obama's new ad this morning; something totally dawned on me:
McCain can't use his arms effectively Obama!!!! He has war injuries you moron!!! Of course he can't sit in front of a computer and type.
Now that would be quite a rebuttal!
So, this is sort of like Biden’s, “Stand up, Chuck,” when “Chuck” is confined to a wheelchair?
exactly!
good thought.
In his first campaign for Congress, someone tried to give McCain a hard time for not having lived in the district for long.
His response?
He said that the longest he has ever lived in one place was the Hanoi Hilton.
Devastating.
Is Obama saying that he should be president over a battle-tested warrior because he can send an email?
McCain probably can’t juggle either... how’s he ever going to be in touch with the blog posting circus freaks on Obama’s way cool site. ;-)
I thnk that McCain effectively hides the extent of the damage done by his POW time. McCain can’t point it out but we can.
I think it could be devastating.
Never do anything yourself that you can’t pay someone to do for you. Do these morons actually think that CEO’s and the upper level corporate types actually sit around surfing the net. Think again.
My father can’t use a computer. My elderly aunt and uncle can’t use a computer either. But you know what they can use? A voting machine.
WTF is this computer illiteracy all about? We are not electing a steno secretary for pete’s sake!
I am sure McCain knows how to surf the net.
He essentially just called every elderly person who never cared to learn how to use a computer, but feels they can get along just fine without it, an idiot.
Way to go there Obama.
First allow all working mothers to be insulted and now elderly voters. Keep it up! Please!
Actually, we do. We just don’t like getting caught freeping.
McCain’s running for President and Commander-in-Chief — not Geek-in-Chief.
McCain should absolutely NOT ask for a stupid ad to be removed. On top of that, the ad makes Obama look petty and small.
The McCain campaign should not fall into a trap of reacting to Obama, and should instead keep pushing forward on real issues while Obama flails around in desperation.
I don’t know. I think a more effective (or at least equally effective) rebuttal is to ask what Obama was doing in the early 80s.
Yeah, I hear Sen. Dole can’t text message.
It is Obama’s “Stand Up Chuck” moment.
I saw the ad this AM and my immpression was that it would only resonate with Obama’s already attached 18-25 year old base. The effort to make McCain seem to be a dottering old man misses the mark when he handles interviews deftly and is now ahead in the polls. I’m glad they’re wasting their money on this kind of tripe.
