Buoy Data is getting frightening...
Windspeend 91.kts at buoy 42361 (Shell’s AUGER platform)
63.9 kts at the Shell MARS platform....
I’ve been following the buoy data, too. It is quite daunting.
The buoy just outside Galveston bay - say 5 miles - now has 40kt winds at sea level now, and 17ft waves. It is going to be getting much worse, for sure.
