Haven’t been to Galvesto in about ten years but at that time there was a lot of touristy development around Moody Gardens, presumably that’s at considerable risk too even tho’ it’s on the “inside”.

I have reservations for the Gulf Coast Conference in mid-October at Moody Gardens.... wondering if it will happen or not. Galveston is a neat place. Great seaside restaurants. I hope it isn’t as bad as it sounds.

That would be underwater by now, for sure...

Besides having family survive the 1900 storm, my father was a witness/survivor of the TC 1947 disaster.

Poor TC won't be around much longer.

For those thinking about 1900...remember the debris field stretched well inland, almost to Houstonand the island was completely cut off for days

I'm very concerned about the water in the bay and the ship channel.
