First, they’re pissed because McCain didn’t pick Lieberman. Secondly, how stupid are they? Everyone knows the biggest supporter of Israel is an evangelical Christian. Oh, well.

Every election I hope for the Jewish exodus from the Democrat Party, but if those secular, liberal Jews, who are the vast majority in the US, want to continue to put their globalist kumbaya and liberalism above Israel and traditional Judeo-Christian values, and fear Christianity more than a Muslim Marxist, they can stay with the Democrat Party... we will win also this election without their votes. WHY are they so blind!?

More liberal propaganda gobbly-gook.

Jewish people somehow are supposed to fear a Christain who supports Israel by faith, yet support Obama, a person who goes to hate-whitey churches that reward glories to Farrahkan.

Total liberal spin.

Exactly. The kind of people who would be “appalled” at a person standing near their own freshly-killed food would never have voted for a Republican anyway.

Although I was (and still somewhat am) optimistic for a high Jewish percentage for McCain, I fear that the article isn’t totally off mark... most Jewish Americans are liberals and unfortunately too many have an irrational fear of Evangelical Christians. Frankly, I won’t be too surprised if a lot of them would stay with Obama. Anyway it’s not too dramatic for this election. Florida is pretty safe for McCain and New York/upper East coast states and California weren’t going red anyway (though IMO New Hampshire is in play). I also think we’ll win Pennsylvania.

They might have voted for McCain, since he is basically a Democrat anyway. So McCain picks an actual conservative, and they change their minds. Holy wow.

I can’t understand it. Why isn’t it bad for a black person to be religious? Have these people listened to Obama? Is it that liberal whites think black zeal is quaint?

Chris Matthews was freaking out when McCain passed on Lieberman, which begged the question of why a Republican should pick a LIBERAL Democrat as his running mate?

Jews vote 95%+ for Dems, so why does the media think they should be appeased by Republicans?

Sounds to me that they don’t believe she’s liberal enough. Too bad. Vote for the false messiah, he’s your true friend.

Oh well, we can't have it both ways-totally pander to Democrat-leaners, and have a true conservative on the ticket. I'll take the true conservative on the ticket. At least now there's money and volunteerism from the base.

I can’t understand it. Why isn’t it bad for a black person to be religious?

It is...unless the black person espouses liberation theology

Have these people listened to Obama?

They have. He does not espouse Christianity...he espouses liberation theology. There is a difference.

Is it that liberal whites think black zeal is quaint?

They like "black churches" because of the theology they espouse. They can't stand blacks who are, for example, Catholic (I mean really Catholic, not Fr. Pfleger "Catholic")

Proof? Look at their treatment of Michael Steele.

I doubt this story is true, but so what thats one. Anyhow the other day the wife talked to an elderly lady who was going to vote Obama and now just loves Sara Palin and has changed her voting mind so they are even.

I think the media may be surprised in November. Or maybe they already know the truth and are lying out of desperation.

There are plenty of journalists who continue to get their quotes and information from a tiny group of friends and pass them off as if they were random, man on the street interviews. It’s a sort of journalistic incestuousness that causes blindness to reality.

Crappola,
American Jews are going to vote democrat regardless if Eichman was their nominee.
Republicans have stood by Israel much more than dems and still they go for the dems.
