Is it just my local cable tv company, or is the ABC sound not synchronized with the lip movements?
If this is national, it's really unforgivable.
If she came off as too scripted (like Obama) her authenticity would be lost. She came off as every other woman in her situation would have in a national interview.
I, of course, would have walked out or snapped off if he was condescending to me. Hence, I will never be asked to be VP on any ticket.
Have you been reading this board the last several days? Are we in parallel universes?
I’m sure theres a transcript that we can look at.
Russia's mistake. They just accelerated the process.
He accused her of hubris! Have never seen Gibson so nasty.

I have only seen a few clips but I thought she did fine. The pundits on tv have all said she did fine. In fact one woman on Fox said she escaped a few trap doors.
I don’t understand all the negativity on here.
While I sympathize with your frustration I don’t know why you would think it would be anything but a hatchet job. It’s only going to get worse.
She covered well, but it was still a cover.
She covered well, but it was still a cover.
oh dont worry I know better. I wish alot of people I am reading here would stop having knee jerk reactions to this small part of the interview. She knew her topics. Maybe even better than Charlie with the questions did.
Charlie tried to trip her up with the task from God question but he now looks foolish for not giving the whole quote.
This woman did very well in holding her own in a professor Charlie pop quiz. I grade her answers better than Obama’s uhuhuh on the questions that BOR asked and they came no where near the task of having to actually know policy.
No, it was our mistake to think we could let that hothead into NATO.
Charlie needed to come off as the aggressor here as he
CANNOT allow the MSM to throw softballs and be Laissez-faire with the person to be next-in-line to the presidency.
The less fervent interviews will come, but trial by fire is the ONLY way to prepare this woman. There is no other way.
I think the Gov. came through well enough for her first interview with the wolves.
Do you have any doubt she'll be more prepared and nuanced next time?
I don't doubt it a bit.

I watched the whole thing - no sound problems, but I detected some bumps where they must have edited out dead time.
I thought she did very well. She was articulate, forceful, and didn’t seem intimidated. In fact I thought Gibson seemed a bit ashamed of what he was doing - often didn’t look her in the eye. What he was doing of course carrying the bilgewater of the MSM.
Afterwards I heard the “panel” on Fox confirm my impression that she avoided all Gibson’s traps and even a reluctant Juan Williams - who clearly doesn’t like her - said that there were no glitches in her performance.
Im sure it was coincidence </sarcasm >
She did a great job responding in a serious believable manner although her answers seemed a little rehearsed. All in all she represented well.
What a jerk. Comfort whom exactly Juan? The left press who already hate her and have tried to take her down? As though they are going to change their minds. I'll tell you what - I'm comforted - to hell with him.
Obama never traveled outside the US until it became an issue this election year.
When he did it, it marked the beginning of the end of his campaign for obvious reasons.
Her response sounds like a smack at Obama that Charlie seems to have missed. I saw the second part of her interview and will catch the first part tonight.

I think her convention speech was brilliant, just brilliant. And she delivered it with perfection. We still don’t know how she will do in a different format with those out to play “gotcha” (i.e. media). I hate to think that our best chance for progress will be compromised.
Go get em Sarah!
