There are a lot of old hippies and stupid college kids now living in the beautiful state of Colorado.

In 1990 the Hispanic population of Colorado was 424,302 [12.9%] out of a total population of 3,294,394. In 2006 the Hispanic population is 934,410 [19.7 %] out of a total population of 4,753,377. Colorado is becoming more purple because of immigration and a growing Hispanic population, which votes predominantly Dem.

1. The Hispanic population has a low rate of voter registration in Colorado, per a Democrat activist acquaintance of mine in said state. They also have a historically low rate of turnout.

2. Lots of Cali lib transplants in Boulder and Denver area, and they ARE registering to vote.
