Doesn’t it all come down to Detroit? How will the Detroit mayor situation effect it?

Nick,

The Mayor will be out of transition in about a week.

But... More investigations are going on, The Feds are looking in a Sewage to Fertilizer Deal and maybe 2 other contracts, one being Cobo Hall.

Prosecutor Kim Worthy has commented that at the county level their maybe more to come.

While no direct ties to Obama, this will all linger.

I'd feel better if McCain's numbers were closer to 50 but I'll take it. At the very least, this shows Obama can't take MI for granted, a state that he very much has to win. This will suck resources away from other key places, no doubt.

And, this also bodes well for McCain's chances in WI, MN, and PA...which forces Obama to waste even more resources in his home territory.

” It is not so much that we may win Michigan (the fraud in Detroit is probably impossible to overcome unless we are 10 points up), but the fact that Obama had to spend a lot of this week in Pennsylvania. Any day he is in a blue state from 2004 is a day he is not in Virginia, Ohio or Colorado.”

John Engler, rock ribbed conservative, won 3 straight elections in MI by wide margins, all without carrying Detoilet.

Sarahacuda will carry MI.!

I went to the Freedom Hill Rally and they were turning people away because there was no place to park.. We parked on a road side and walked in.. Huge crowd. Macomb County Reagan Dems could swing this for McCain.

What a great place for such an event. I was there too. We scored some VIP seats because some hard boiled RINO blonde wouldn’t give up general admission aisle (firast come, first served) seats (2-(JERK)-2) she was guarding for people that were still in the parking lot> “Oh...they’re here...they’re still in the parking lot.” Good thing the volunteer ushers were on the ball and decided to not let ‘em make a scene. So much for “Country First”, I thought. Traffic was very slow on the way out but over all, it was well worth the price of the tickets.
