strange that they would feel compelled to run this. Maybe its their way of getting closure.

I think it would always be too soon.
I wouldn’t laugh at a joke about Pearl Harbor.

Is it still too soon for jokes about Sept. 11?They are as appropriate as they ever will be.

The day it becomes acceptable to make jokes about 9/11/01 will be the saddest day of my life, if it indeed happens within my lifetime.
I don’t hear Pearl Harbor jokes, and it’s still too early for War of 1812 jokes. Nobody’s busting a gut laughing about Fort Sumter.

It's always going to be too soon. The reason the Left wants to joke about 9/11 is for one reason only: to diffuse the patriotism it provokes on both sides of the aisle. If they can make us laugh, it loses its ability to unite us against our enemy.

Never. It’d be like joking about the Holocaust.

It’s the way that some people — particularly NYers — deal with tragedy.

There’s never a bad time to make jokes about PMSNBC.

Just like it will never be ok to joke about the attack on Pearl Harbor, it will never be ok to joke about 911.

Is it too early for jokes about Pearl Harbor, Iwo Jima, or the Battle of Gettysburg? What makes anyone think this is a funny subject? They must be members of the Bill Maher school of humor.

MSNBC employs Olbermann, and he’s a joke, so I guess they think it’s OK.

I remember the Onion bit about Muhammad Atta suprised to be in hell and not with 72 virgins, and it was the first time I allowed myself to laugh. I needed that. If it is the right kind of humor, it is okay.

Not at all. Here's one:
Didja hear the one about how the MSNBC studios were destroyed on 9/11?
No?
Well doesn't that suck.
