It's creeping closer and closer to us and we still have no evacuation for special needs. I think our EOC came from "special ed."

We sit here surrounded by tall pine trees. Until the latest shift, everybody we know was also in the path--some looking worse than us.

When I say we have NOTHING available in the way of shelter, not even to go to for the duration of the storm...which is all I want. If we are to be without elec for a while, we're out of here afterward anyway.

I think tomorrow I'll put a "contract out" on EOC in advance if anything happens to us.
