And that applies to BOTH of them!

(Thanks, jaz!)
The dolt is well known up here - his nickname on the local talk radio shows is
“Gunny” French.....
and,ya, he is a DEM
(spits, walk away muttering)
Hollis can join Dan Rather and Hillary Clinton in the Marine Corps hall of fame...bwahahahahahhaa.....
nah...basically he wasn't a Marine. He was training to earn the right to be a Marine. Most of my brothers use that as the benchmark of what they are. They are Marines first and everything else just kinda pales in comparison.
No matter what you do after you're discharged, you're a Marine.
Pilots that are dc'd are former Marine who happens to be a pilot. CEOs of a company is a former Marine who happens to be a CEO of a company. ..... an actor in Hollywood is a former Marine who happens to be an actor.
That's how it works.... unless you're Dan Rather and friends... Then you're an a##hole that wishes he had become a Marine but was afraid of dying, discipline or just didn't like the food.
Either way this seeker of the truth needs to have the big bright light put on him and let's all gather as the cockroach runs and hides under his frickin rock. POS.... Pvt. French..... ya just gotta know he got some sh#t when he was training.
” In another story French claims he spent six weeks at Quantico, VA.”
Don’t know if I believe this. When I joined, the Marine Corps made me a private and sent me to a resort called MCRD San Diego, where I got promoted to “maggot” first day. I had various other promotions in boot camp but can’t repeat them in a public forum.
I was afraid of dying, lived with the discipline, and surprisingly I actually liked the food pretty well. I had a lot of Navy chow too.
Dick,
You are correct...he was technically in the USMCR (same as any kid who enlists but is waiting to on active duty for basic training) but he never earned the title “Marine”...nor the privilege of wearing the Eagle, Globe & Anchor or any rank insignia.
Hey, my Marine got that maggot promotion too!
He wasn't placed there - he volunteered.
Sounds like this French is a lying coward too. Obviously in the right Party. Time to bury this political Stalinist.
Pray for W, McCuda and Our Troops
Thank you for your sacrifice. We can never repay you so we will pray for your heroic son.
Pray for W, McCuda and Constitutions Grandchild’s Marine
Why would you be asking Head for his opinion? He didn’t serve in the military either.
Thanks. I’ve taken intecessory prayer to a whole new level. I suspect when son deploys, I’ll be on my knees 24/7 in some form or other. ;-)
It’s what he wants. I’ve NEVER seen him happier — even during the months of recruitment for football. He has found his “family” who will be there for him when I and his dad can no longer be here for him. The men and women I have met during his quest for candidacy are truly the loving brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews I would have given him had I been able.
We only children (I and son) always wished for that big family experience — now he’s found one.
You should.
Is this accurate?? If so why hasn’t this got wider play?
