The man has never had to run a campaign against an opponent he can’t bury. It shows in his thin-skinned responses to criticism. He’s used to being in control, the one who causes his opponents to drop out of the race through media planted expose’s. This is a new game for him and he hasn’t figured out how to adjust.

Karl Rove was pointing this out to Greta last night...forget his lack of executive experience, he has no experience as a candidate either.

It was obnoxious and rude, but not particularly sexist. It didn’t infer that she was a pig because she was a woman.

No, it infered that she was a pig because of her lipstick joke during her convention speech, which is precisely why he said it. It was almost a direct reference in my mind.

Barack Obama accused the McCain campaign of "lies" and "Swift boat" politics Wednesday, after nearly a day of claims his 'lipstick on a pig' comment was a sexist attack leveled at GOP VP candidate Sarah Palin.

It would be hard to believe it wasn't an attack on Sarah, but if it wasn't, and barack didn't think it would be seen that way...he's a fool.

I think we should let the woman of America decided when enough is enough Mr. Obama. You have a history of anti-female behavior. Towards Palin, towards hillary. You call female reporters honey, you have muslim women escorted from your rallies. Hey, you’re the perfect leader for an anti-woman party.

I really don’t understand how his lipstick on a pig comment was sexist. It was obnoxious and rude, but not particularly sexist. It didn’t infer that she was a pig because she was a woman.

You must be single, here's a suggestion, DO NOT repeat this comment to a woman you wish to have an ongoing future relationship.

Did anybody hear Glenn Beck talk about “Enough” this morning? He played a clip of Olbermann giving Obama advice on bringing the conversation back to the issues and telling everyone “ENOUGH.” And then they played Obama’s response to lipstick remarks and it sounded just like what Olbermann said. Plagiarism or taking Olbermann’s advice? Maybe someone else who heard can detail it better.

"Putting lipstick on a pig" has long been a part of everyday parlance, so Obama should not be accused of using the line in relation to Palin.

I didn't hear Obama's comment in context. If it isn't obvious by the context that Obama was talking about Palin, then it's probably just an honest mistake using that particular phrase.

If that's the case it shows that he didn't think through how his comment would be received, which if wasn't giving a pre-written speech is going to happen from time to time.

If it happens a lot for him it does reflect on his statesmanship because such mistakes can have adverse diplomatic effects, however everyone is going to make such mistakes occasionally.

It is so nice that BHO decided that he should be the next POTUS. But it is not his decision. It belongs to the voters.

BHO was able to secure his parties nomination. John McCain was gracious when he said on the day of his acceptance speech:

"Tomorrow, we'll be back at it," McCain said, smiling into the camera. "But tonight, senator, job well done."

The race now is for 270 votes in the electoral college. It is a do or die campaign. No one gets a pass at any time.

The only Enough is Enough is for McCain/Palin to succeed. Knock this arrogant liberal off of his high horse and to drag a reform bunch into the congress on Sarah's coattails

When listened to in its entire context, Obama wasn’t referring to Palin specifically. He was referring to the same ol’ policies, 8 years of Bush, bla-bla-bla, not being anything about change...HOWEVER, to throw in the lipstick on a pig comment was a calculated move on his part, knowing full darn well the audience would immediately associate it with Palin’s previous lipstick comment. Even if it was an impromptu comment on his part, it was so totally tacky, totally unbecoming of someone wanting to be the POTUS, leader of the free world. And frankly, the fact that McCain said it earlier in the year with regard to Hillary’s health care plan, was tacky and unbecoming as well.
