I’d have been inclined to give BHO a pass on his remaark, but the way he’s handling the pressure speaks volumes about his temperament and thin skin. Hardly Presidential.

And he’s demonstrating that he’s incapable of admitting a mistake, or apologizing and “moving on”.

Exactly. Plus, he's showing poor judgement in keeping a "non-issue" alive by holding a press conference about it.

He's not going to move up in the polls from people seeing him today.

On the flip side, I think it shows that McCain actually thinks things through 10 or 20 moves ahead. I guarantee that he knew that he could get Obama to say something stupid. Obama is alienating women voters and he's alienating the media. He's reminding the PUMA's why they are PUMA's.

Plus, this is going to suck all the oxygen out of Obama's campaign up until the big interview with Sarah Palin airs on ABC. Then that's all anyone will talk about and Obama will have a very hard time regaining control of the news cycle.
