Obama gets ovation with lipstick on pig
LEBANON, Va - Democrat Barack Obama enjoys poking fun at his Republican opponents and their claims to being agents of change.
You can put lipstick on a pig. Its still a pig, he said as the crowd cheered and yelled and eventually got to their feet.
You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change. Its still gonna stink.
Weve had enough of the same old thing.
The audience, which had a particularly strong reaction whenever Obama mentioned Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin, appeared to enjoy the lipstick comment the most.
When Palin gave her acceptance speech at the Republican convention in St. Paul she joked about being a hockey mom, saying the only difference between a pitbull and a hockey mom was lipstick.

These guys could make a great little video out of this !
“He didn’t call her a pig. He used a time-worn cliche. If McCain had chosen Mitt Romney as his VP and Obama has used that same cliche, no one would have noticed. The fact that he chose Palin does not make it a sexist comment, any more than the use of “niggardly” or “eeny meeny miny mo” is racist. For any of us to whine about it is buying into the left’s political correctness and I’m not willing to do that.”
Sorry Barack, but your BS defense does not work. Look at the tape. The crowd went nuts - they knew what he was saying. Very similar to Rev. Wright’s orgy of hatred in front of his ecstatic flock. Yeah, he meant it. Remember, Barry, “WORDS MATTER.”
Voted NO SB 1661 (2002)
A part of the Born Alive Infant Protection Package. Would create a cause of action of a child is born alive after an abortion and the child is then neglected through failure to provide medical care after birth.
She ain’t very happy, is she?
The idea of calling Sarah Palin a pig is disgusting and should be unacceptable. It is Liberal and Democrat women who are the Pigs, just look at them and you will see the difference. Republican girls are beautiful and sexy, Liberal girls aren’t, and they aren’t very clean, either.
Explaining how she got her political start at the PTA level, Palin told the RNC crowd: "I was just your average hockey mom. I love those hockey moms, you know, they say, what is the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull? Lipstick. I was just your average hockey mom and signed up for the PTA because I wanted to make my kids' public education better."
She used the word lipstick to describe herself and now BO using the phase "lipstick on a pig". Its clear to me he insulted her. If she did not say lipstick, BO would have never used the term.
That is unspeakably evil.
What amazes me is this fool has the same education level that I have, and at supposedly better schools.
Well, if were going to call a Spade a Spade here I mean, what kind of cotton-pickin, monkey business is this guy up to???Period. Dot. Bingo.Whats that?
Awww, no, I didnt mean ANYTHING by that, you know. Those are old expressions, everyones heard em
sarc/off
I first heard Andrew on talk radio in NY. He is one of the best and miss him since he went to Sirius.
Right the whole, hockey Mom, lipstick thing...it was a careful choice of words. He’s over the top.
You’re really obtuse. He let that zinger go deliberately aiming it at Palin, while appearing not to, but knowing full well how his audience would interpret it, as the audience did.
Thank you, as much as Barry looks immature in his speech, he did not call Sarah Palin a pig.
Two: Gov Palin should do the "brush the crap off my shoulder" move when talking about the O'Biden team like Barry did when he was referencing Hillary.
Obama is acting like a 9 year old.
Here is Obama mimicking McCain arm movements for a laugh, fast forward to 12:20

He also gave the finger to Hillary, and also the brush off in the Primaries.
