Given the way they've been talking and acting, upon their inevitable defeat I fully anticipate a violent outburst on their part. Accordingly, I've been working overtime lately (see tag line). Having lived through two race riots I consider this prudent.

Bought my first gun—a rifle—last month; joined the NRA last week; going to my first gun clinic this weekend. And I’m already looking to complement my rifle with a shotgun and a pistol. The Second Amendment ROCKS!

Indeed that was more my first thought. Self-defense in the event of an 0bama loss.
*Glad some adjustments in our gun laws went into effect this week(Ohio castle law).
Although if 0bama continue his meltdown I feel the likelihood diminishes, if the race remains close...then there will be trouble. If the media insists on false poll reporting, there will be trouble. Which they should be held legally accountable.

this is silly. even southern democrats dont mess with gun rights. they know they wont be reelected. the assault weapons ban was silly, uninformed, and knee-jerk. it wont happen again.

RE: “I wonder how many new gun buyers are buying guns in the event Obama LOSES and riots break out.”
YESSS!!!!! My thoughts exactly! I’ve never owned a gun but am seriously thinking of hurrying up and getting one and taking some shooting lessons right now. I’d have to hurry as there is a wait period here.
Your view is what I thought when I read the headline — things could get really ugly in various places, and Los Angeles (my area) would likely be one of them. Question is, would there be rioting only if the O loses, or if he wins as well? Celebratory rioting?
Judging from sports victories/defeats of recent years, it’s hard to tell.

Thanks. I’ve had it for a while.

You mean there's good reason to buy a new gun no matter what happens? Hell, here in Virginia we have to buy one a month. It's the law. It says right here, "one handgun a month."
Every time my wife catches me bringing home another one she asks, "Another gun?" I just tell her that I'm doing my part to keep them off the street. She doesn't know how successful I've become.

Good point. We need a new line of T-shirts. “Help, I’m black. Will riot for anything.”

Do not delay. For starters, have one of these in 12ga. along with several boxes of ammo in the house before November. Affordable, reliable, and utterly intimidating...when it must be positively, absolutely destroyed overnight choose the shotty:

I am referring to the ones that made the post on line. I have not communicated with anyone personally that has made that statement to me. As I said in my post I read these remarks online. So how can I know exactly who made those remarks. That's why I simply referred to them as obama’s supporters.

Here's the deal.........
When you said..."they"....it comes across as racist...in many minds.
It doesn't at first in mine....but I would like to know the context of the comment.
If you are a conservative...and don't "see color" then you will know what I am saying.........

The thought never crossed my mind. I used they because I had no names.

Looks like you and I logged in for the first time around the same time. I lurked from March of ‘98 before finally coming on board. I knew you could be talking about your outstanding tagline because taglines weren’t even offered in 2000.
