After Sarah Palin is sworn in on January 20th, 2009, what Constitutional authority will she have? Sadly, other than casting an occasional tiebreaker vote in the Senate of the United States, if one ever materializes, she will have none.

Whose immigration policy will be implemented? Whose concerns over global warming will sway energy policies? Whose intent to change the way politics in Washington work, will rule the day? What does reaching across the isle mean, when Conservatism has the right idea, and it’s titular head is the one reaching out? How do you compromise, when you have the right policy to begin with? Isn’t compromise under those conditions simply another term for caving in to leftist goals to one degree or another?

We are still stuck with a man who less than one year ago over 90% of our forum participants stated they wouldn’t vote for. I think they had a reason. You know they did. I think those reasons are still valid. I think that “WE” not you or just the other forum participants that intend to vote for McCain, have become caught up in Palin mania.

For the first time in a long time, we have a person running for office on a party ticket who says what we have been thinking. Whats more, I think she means it. That is an appealing thing to see. I think it’s great. Sadly, I also think Sarah still has too little experience to be a heartbeat away from being the Commander in Chief. One of the most promising things she brings to the table, is a conservative viewpoint just a heartbeat away from the Oval Office. And then you have to note her experience. Is she ready for this? So far so good.

What does 2012 portend? Will John run again? Let’s say he doesn’t. He steps down and the primary process opens the field to those wishing to follow John into the Oval Office. What did our illustrious Republican compatriots usher in this election season? Their tastes ran toward the type of candidate John McCain represented didn’t they. Is that the type of candidate Sarah Palin is? By 2012, is she a viable candidate? Will you and I even get a chance to vote for her before she is eliminated like our first choices this year were?

I think a lot of folks have convinced themselves that Sarah Palin is the future of this party, a party that continually ignores or even trashes what she believes in. Some of you folks are going to get a real lesson in what the Republican party has become after Palin helps John McCain get elected.

A lot of the leaders who championed and defended Palin, so McCain would be viable, are going to surprise many of you when they let it be known what they really think of her “narrow minded” (not my take on it, but theirs) views down the road. I think a lot of folks are setting themselves up for the big fall here.

Both parties are globalist disciples these days. Both have bought off on the socialist model. Both have become green, to one degree or another on most issues.

Good luck Sarah. Wait until you get an ear full of what some of these Republican leaders really think of you after the election.

How soon we forget...

Well...don't vote for McCain/Palin...and then basically support overt Marxist/Socialism.

Am I happy about McCain? Nope. Am I happy about what I hear Palin say...and how she wasn't liked by the good 'ol boy pubbies in AK? Yes.

She reminds me of Senator Coburn. The state pubbies in control....didn't want him. Guess what? He got elected. He continues to tick off Dim and Pubbie Washington Pol's...We need more like him.

Hey we stopped amnensty before..we can stop it again.

You can help...if you want. Of you can watch.

I have forgotten nothing. However, the choices are bleak. Allow Obama into the White House with a leftist congress and guess what happens to the USA? Guess what happens to the world?

Do you think Obama will stand up to the Islamic terrorists? Do you think he will object to Russia’s tanks rolling over its former satellite countries? Will he prevent Russia from moving into South America? Will he do anything when communist China makes its moves? Or Iran makes its moves on Israel? No. He’ll be too busy destroying our nukes, dismantling our defenses, scrapping our navy, and decimating our armies.

He and the godless socialist congress will be busy murdering babies, destroying our family structure, destroying our religious freedoms and our society. They’ll destroy the economy by raising taxes, seizing the profits of “greedy” corporations, signing global warming treaties, choking off our manufacturing industries, nationalizing healthcare, and destroying our oil, gas, coal and energy industries. They’ll be busy erasing our borders and destroying our national sovereignty while setting up global courts, global governments, global armies. And levying taxes on us to support it all.

The parts of their Marxist agenda they can’t enact through legislation, they’ll simply enact through executive fiat or through liberal judicial activism. And you can bet that the courts will be packed with liberal activist judges. Allow Obama and his Marxist comrades to control all three branches of our government and you can kiss our constitution and our republic goodbye.

No thanks. I’ll be supporting and voting for McCain-Palin. For America and against Marxism!!
