Complete untruth.. Donations by troops who can afford over $250 to donate that is part of public reports did. A majority of all political donations are in the $25-$50 range and are not listed as line items. Even if you look at this, it was a very few number of people who put down some sort of Armed Service in their donor line to Obama. I think we figured it out to be .0018% of enlisted personnel versus .0013% for McCain- statistically indistinguishable.
That “military” was taken at Git,o and only eligible Taliban were polled.
Is Dean suggesting that “Our Military”, by a 6 to 1 margin, wants to cut and run in Iraq ???
Thank you, thank you ... for my next trick, I'll pull an American flag out of my a$$!
How can a "real reporter" allow such a statement to go unchallenged? This is pure BS.
In the world of Dems, it's starting to look like ALL WOMEN ARE DIVISIVE AND INEXPERIENCED because they are the wrong gender.
That has been my experience as well. As a matter of fact, the antiObama emails have been so heavy we’ve had an informal “Knock it Off” session because it is after all unnecessary and unauthorized on government networks. My guess is that overall the military is at least seventy percent McCain, perhaps much more and certainly much more as you approach the tip of the spear.
No problem. Just lead him a little more.
“Thank you, thank you ... for my next trick, I’ll pull an American flag out of my a$$!”
He’s got to remove his head first.
It's crap, don't believe it.
Dean will be in a rubber room by the time this is over. He’s delusional...
First of all, military people are not rich and are generally young people. Those two add up to very little donations to political parties and individuals. Therefore the numbers they use are so small as to be insignificant statistically.
I haven’t looked at these numbers nor seen what they are publishing. However if they are using the employer category as the basis then they can be out of line if they say the numbers are troops. The employer number would entail all civilians that work for the military, etc.
Paul’s group used to push this number that showed they favored him in the primaries.
That’s the military in Fort Huachuca. What about the troops stationed in islamic strongholds? I’ll bet “they” (notice the quotation marks) are donating a lot of Dinars, if you catch my drift.
Army units are integrated. No such thing as “black army units” as I am sure you know.
Not military myself but have plenty of military family and I say from what I hear from them this: total bull sh!t, they cannot stand Barry.
As the wife of an active duty Marine down here at Camp Lejeune, this is not my experience. Now of course, I can’t claim to know everyone’s mind, but speaking to my husband in regards to the feeling of his unit, and from the people I know, 6 to 1 is highly inaccurate. Not even remotely close.
I’m on a 15 minute break right now. Going through a course with officers from every branch of Armed Forces. I don’t think a single one appoints Obama.
This flawed donation argument is one that Ron Paul tried to use. Most service members don’t make donations, so the small group giving heavily and often to Obama, or Paul can really skew the numbers. Also, there is no way to verify that data.
