I just found the part of the interview where Zerobama says this. However, if you continue listening to what Stephanapolis says, then to what BHO says to correct him, you see that what he’s saying is that McCain has never said anything about the ‘rumors’ that he is a Muslim. So, the premise of your thread is busted (unfortunately.)
However, before Zerobama admits that, he tries to blame McCain for doing just that, saying that the ‘blogs’ that have said he’s a Muslim are closely tied to McCain. To his credit, Steph keeps punching him to admit that beither McCain nor the McCain campaign has said that BHO is a Muslim.
So, BHO is still a slime, but he is not admitting that he’s a Muslim in this interview.
Therefore, IMO, you should ask the mods to pull this thread. It’s an embarrassment. Really.

Obama said what he said. I don’t know of anyone who has mistakenly said they are a Christian, Jewish, Muslim , Buddhist, Wiccan, Debil worshiper, etc. We know what we are, except for Obama, apparently.
As a Christian, I would NEVER say “My” and “muslim” and “Faith” together like that in one sentence no matter WHAT the context was.... EVER.
This is very telling of NoBAMA.
I watched it and I agree with you. Steph kept hammering away at him on the surge also. I can't wait to see Obama talk about the surge in the debates. It's painful to watch.
I agree with your comments that the initial 17 second youtube clip is misleading. I think we conservatives get a bad name jumping on something like this as somehow “proof” he’s a Muslim.
That said, the entire clip in context can be used to for two very powerful reinforcements that:
a) Obama is getting tongue tied in these interviews he’s done the past few days. He’s looking really rattled right now and can we say it “inexperienced” under this type of pressure? I think so.
b) It just validates that guys like GSteph in the drive by media are in the tank for him.

I finally saw the whole interview. Thre is no question that Obambi slipped and said “...my muslim faith,” and Stephanopolous corrected him and said “...Christian faith,” at which point Obambi said, “Yes, Christian faith.” He then went on to say he meant to say McCain never accused him of being a muslim.
I agree with you. You really do have to listen to the whole thing. This will bite us in the butt.

The point of this issue is why he would say “MY Muslim faith”. It all boils down to the words “MY”, really. Why would he adhere himself and his person to the words “MY”?
EXAMPLE: I’m Catholic. Born and raised in Catholic schools in Puerto Rico. Imagine if I was sitting there with Steffi and we’d be engaging in a conversation in which the McCain campaign had been making remarks that I was an Episcopalian.
Why on how on Earth would I say: “What I was suggesting —you’re absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Episcopalian faith. And you’re absolutely right that that has not come.”
Why would I say “MY Episcopalian faith” if I have never espoused and or been taught in that faith? How would I consciously even say those words? There’s no Episcopalian faith in me or in my person, because I’ve never gone or been taught in an Episcopalian church.
If there’s no Episcopalian teachings, then there’s no “MY Episcopalian”. It’s that simple.
This Freudian slip is huge and that Obama uttered it is serious and dangerous.
I’m sure that’s how this will be spun as just another misspoken statement. HOwever, haven’t they been laughing at GW for the same thing for the past 8 years.
So it’s either he has muslim faith in him and he slipped by saying what no Christian would every say “My muslim faith”. OR he speaks worse than GWB in which case the left should be lining up for an apology to GWB right now? Or agreeing Barack HUSSEIN obama is unfit to speak on our behalf as President if he can’t even articulate what faith he is.
In reality, those that are worried about his “muslim faith” will take this at face value and read it as what he said. Those that believe he’s the 2nd coming of the lord...well it’s just another mistake by their messiah.
Still interesting, but I agree with you. I can see how it could maybe be a true slip, but it can’t be proven that it is. Maybe he added the part about meaning the allegations of his Muslim faith part later to cover his tracks, and he actually did admit he was a Muslim.
But, we should not run with this to say he did so....maybe he just slipped his words up instead. That would seem more likely.
