I hope there is a re-run since all we got was “storm talk” on the local 10 BS channel.
Tropical Storm Hannah took a jaunt through my way yesterday.
Heh.
Well we haven’t had any rain for over six weeks, I’m not making this up, not a drop. Thus my own fine self, gardener extraordinaire that I am, was delighted to welcome Hannah with open arms.
And so she did but it was just a little wind and some rain. Sheesh....and all the local shows telling us to go hide, guard our property, secure our pets.
I went to the Saturday mass yesterday and half the people didn’t show up!
Heh.
The ground here absorbed that rain quite handily and already the plants are telling me how happy they are.
Of course now I gotta mow the lawn.....
Probably steal the test and write the answers on his hands. Or just launch into his stump speech regardless of whether it answers the question or not.
Fine, truce it is. (Perhaps the term “CRAP” got me riled up because I’m not known around here for posting “CRAP”).
No, we have the village idiot George Cole.
Well, I said CRAP because it is my “Christian Cussword” of choice... ;0)
Truce.
You are in Delaware, right?
Cole is a Democrat?
I’m curious, is your tag line an indicator that the tourists have gone home? Cause Labor Day is a cherished and valued holiday here in the Fish household.
The tourists keep my property taxes down ($572 this year) so I suffer them. But when they go home I must dance and clap.
;)
LATE EDITION (CNN) : Sens. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz. Gov. Tim Kaine, D-Va
Kyle “2nd highest cooperate tax rates in the world” [McCain lowers rate, 0bama seeks infinite rate on those evil big businesses, 0bama obviously doesn’t understand the food chain in financial markets]
Kyle “get our cooperate tax rates near the average in the world so companies aren’t going abroad”
Kyle on wooing Lieberman “get some offshore drilling, we won’t get if Democrats are in charge”
Kaine “economy has been managed in a disastrous way”[speed bumps maybe, disaster=>another Democrat stretch]
Kaine “small business is the back bone of the economy” [Big business hires small business, just look how many sub-contractors IBM hires]
Kaine “big business doesn’t need the government help”
.
HELP! Does anybody including Democrats know what 0bama’s plan is?
Kaine “denying businesses tax deduction” [Is this 0bama’s Plan? Tax credits instead of REAL RATE reductions?]
There is a significant difference between a small town mayor or governor seeking federal assistance for infrastructure improvements and a Senator using earmarks to pay back political favors.
I'm sure Gov Palin will 'splain the difference to him in the next few days.
Of course. You need to listen. He's going to lower taxes on the "Middle Class".
I think it was Guiliani who said during his convention speech that the Middle Class will only be affected if you buy food or gas at any business selling same. Heh.
Wonder what is up with Dr. K. not digging Sarah...
I haven’t watched This Week in years but did today; the panel absolutely drips with snootiness. I haven’t been missing much.
Joe: "The Republican candidates offer no change. My Goodness, they want to keep taxes low! We need the change brought in by a lawyer from the Chicago machine and a lawyer from a small state in the Northeast. Now that's change I can put up with!"
