It would have been a bad idea to choose her of Obama has priced Hillary or some other woman as a running mate, because the media would have marketed it as pandering. But Obama chose Biden, walking into a political $hit storm, heheheheheh.
I'm off. Will check back in later.
Wow what a great post, you get right to the core of the DBM and it’s not a pretty sight.
Lets just so no. We’re in the age of YouTube folks. You don’t need to go on these shows to get airtime. While Palin’s network coverage may be muted somewhat it is still rife with outright sexism and continued unfounded blog rumor criticism.
Why not just have Palin on Fox and Friends each week and leave it at that. For crying out loud, I’ve seen ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, and some newscasters on Fox deliver unfounded comments verbatim from Daily Kos!
Continue to have Palin on Larry Kudlows show. Have her do the financial shows. Those comments and interviews will make it to the radar via youtube and will get the message out.
The McCain campaign can send out emails with links to the interviews and people will watch them. Bank on it.
Same for Bill O, forget it. The guy wants to keep his liberal viewers and would sprinkle the interview with rumors just to show his independence. As for Gail Sheehey, she may apologized half heartedly, but didn’t change her political persuasion.
You bet!
George Will just said the choice of Sarah Palin is historic in that she is not just bringing a state or expertise to the ticket, but she is affecting the McCain candidacy across the board, nationwide.
Yes, George, Sarah Palin is doing just that.
Really?? Bad?
I guess if he wins the VP it will ruin Return Day.
Joan Walsh defended Sarah Palin as much as Carpenter did, except she did say that Palin brought this on herself, at which point Carpenter interrupted and said SHE DID NOT and it is absurd for you to state that.

Obama on Stephie who is gushing all over the Messiah..and sarcastic about palin.
The MSm is sooooo obvious.
OOOps, sorry for the double post.
McCain is on FTN, anyone watching? I just tuned in in time for the commercial break.
Bad in that Obama is clearly unprepared and unable to answer the questions coherently. On may questions, you won’t know what he said after he says it.
Funny thing, most folk don’t know 0bama, only his groupies and the political junkies do, I think his campaign is struggling to get him know, as Sarah Palin eclipses past, 0bama should have taken up McCain on all those town hall meetings, and now 0bama is trying to make up for it by doing news shows;
I may have to watch that. Obama has 2 young daughters. No one says he should stay home and raise them.
Rats are hypocrites! When people ask me if I’m a feminist, I say “no” even though I’m successful in a male dominated job.
I wouldn’t put her own yet for a couple reasons. First, she literally just jumped into this and it’s more than reasonable to give her time to get her feet under her. Second, strategically, let the media and the left wingers stew for a while and they’ll do what they always do, attack and spew venom and go way too far. They’ll once again lower the expectations to such a point that she can’t help but hit a home run when she does engage these guys. The McCain people can stoke their anger during that time by claiming she’s too busy juggling home life and her job to deal with them right now, which is exactly what they said she couldn’t do and will drive them even crazier.
Kurtz calls Palin a “celebrity”. Too funny.
Joan Walsh did say she was surprised by the feminist reaction to Palin, Walsh says Palin is exactly what feminists have been working for.
On may should have been On many. Sorry.
Oh my, I’ll watch it.
They weren't asked of hillery-rotten, either!
Oh, wait...
