The Talk Shows
Sunday, September 7th, 2008
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Obama chief strategist David Axelrod and McCain campaign manager Rick Davis.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Democratic vice presidential nominee Joe Biden.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Republican presidential nominee John McCain.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama.
LATE EDITION (CNN) : Sens. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., Kay Bailey Hutchison, R-Texas; Gov. Tim Kaine, D-Va.; Obama campaign adviser Robert Gibbs; McCain economic adviser Nancy Pfotenhauer.
I’m watching This Week as well. It is REALLY HARD to follow along with what Obama is saying.
Kurtz two cents: Media has the right to talk to her and about her. He recognizes the backlash and said he already sees some of the coverage changing. He does not mention the poll where 51% of the people think the media is working to destroy Palin. Although I like Kurtz, his honesty and forth rightedness is severely lacking.
Wow, Obama actually said “his Muslim faith” and Stephanopolis caught it? Yes, that NEEDS to be on YouTube!
And didn't Biden look terrible?. His right eye was screwy and it looked like somebody pulled his skin back and stapled it behind his head. McCain looks much better then he does...
Reliable Sources has Ed Henry on saying Tucker Carlson didn’t answer a question about Sarah Palin’s experience, and equated that to Carlson working with the McCain campaign, really stretching here Eddie
Biden looked hung over with one eye nearly shut, his wooden teeth a littel bit too white and his fiberglass hair a bit too rigid!
Mccain not coming to texas or i would go...
Obama does the equivalent of Quayle’s “potatoe” practically every time he opens his mouth without a script in front of him.
The debates are going to be very revealing.
Of course the dem default position is victim status, so every gaffe of Obama will be considered an ‘attack’ by McCain.
Obama's advisors thought Biden would be popular with working-class whites.
I know a little about IP law (probably just enough to be ‘dangerous’ - grin). If NObama didn’t register a trademark for ‘Hope and Change’ as a tagline or logo, etc., I don’t believe he has any IP claim. And, because they’re generic words, I don’t believe they could be TM’d. Some might consider them descriptive words - for TM registration they would have to have acquired distinctiveness because they were used exclusively by his campaign for a long period of time, which isn’t the case, so I don’t think he could register a TM. Plus, TM registration takes about 1-2 years. I also don’t think those 2 words would be sufficient to be considered copyrightable material. Just my $.02 - all of this would need to be confirmed by an attorney who is an expert on IP law.
Wonder if the IP owners of Bob the Builder - can we build it - ‘Yes we Can’ and/or by the copyright owner, Allen Toussaint - 1970, of the song, ‘Yes We Can’ mind Obambi using those words.
Ya, like all the chicks I knew in high school.
thoughts... Biden is a putz
challenging her to a game of basketball where, as a nominal male, he holds the physical advantages, rather than facing her in a debate
point
Here you go Glenn Beck, two interviews with Palin.

Laughing at Stephy: Replays the “above my paygrade” line and asks: “What that too flip”? Leading him to the answer that will attempt to resurrect Obambi’s gaffe.
Too funny; laughable how these people think these are fair interviews.
Please! Link to this video!!!
yes! i heard that. the pay grade answer was when he was asked why obama won’t do more debates with Mccain
I agree with your wife. In order to accomplish every day all that Sarah Palin demands of herself, an easy to manage hairstyle would be very sensible.
We KNOW that she is not a slave to anyone’s opinion.
