So have you asked what position Sarah Palin takes on the illegal immigration issue? In all likelihood she received her marching orders when offered the job. Just one of the trade-offs when climbing that political ladder, as usually happens. The only problem with that scenario is that once one starts down that slippery path where does it stop.

I have not changed my mind on McCain. I simply don't trust him. Bears repeating: I simply don't trust him.

>>You totally ignore McCain’s actual position on border security.<<
Which is last year’s amnesty plus lipstick (like having 2 Dem and 2 RINO governors “certify” that the border is secure before amnesty begins).

I am not talking about the abuse button. I am talking about you trying to shut down this discussion. None of us have said anything that would be affected by your hitting abuse.
We all know your type here and are damned glad you illegal lovers have been thinned out.
McCain and Obama are the same when it comes to their support of illegal alien criminals just like you.
What the hell good is this country if it is infested with scum?
I am going to vote for McCain but will hammer him on this issue and will not be silenced. Get used to it.

The RNC was not the place for a divisive issue like immigration.

According to the cowards who worship at the feet of John (I am the light and the way) McCain.

Offering a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants is the only way to remedy our current immigration problems.

The RNC is not the government. They had no more right to express their beliefs there than you do here on a private message board.

You and your lot are nothing but uncompromising one-issue fanatics. Even with the selection of Sarah Palin, you're still not happy. Luckily, you but a tiny percent of the GOP and an even tinier one of the American population. You simply do not matter.

You and your lot are nothing but uncompromising one-issue fanatics. In four or eight years this may be the only issue because supporters such as yourselves were championing illegal alien criminal scumbags.
At least by then you will have been on FR for more than a few minutes and your opinion might carry some weight.
It sure doesn't now n00bie.

Wrong AND stupid. I'd like to know when McCain is going to man up and confront china over the fact that they're funding and arming the terrorists who are killing the troops he claims to care so much about.
Even with the selection of Sarah Palin, you're still not happy.
Sorry the name Sarah Palin isn't a magic word to me like it is with you folks who have long since tossed your panties on the John McCain stage
Luckily, you but a tiny percent of the GOP and an even tinier one of the American population. You simply do not matter.
But I apparently matter enough for you to feel a need to respond. As for our "tiny minority"...How did that amnesty thing work out for you last time?

Offering a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants is the only way to remedy our current immigration problems. Amnesty...bailouts...for everyone but the law-abiding U.S. citizen and taxpayer (as well as legal immigrants).
Why do you want to "cut and run" when it comes to enforcing the immigration laws of the United States (which are valid)? And, if they can violate the law, when can the rest of us do so? And, will you give us amnesty too?

Even with the selection of Sarah Palin, you're still not happy. That GOP elites think they can buy off conservatives with a token gift is both wrong and insulting, to say the least.

Personally I think McQueeg’s handlers made a good pick but I still need to know a lot more. Using her like the word “Abracadabra” just indicates that the GOP wants stupid sheep as voters.
There is something that bothers me about the whole situation. I can’t help but think McCain has opposed drilling in ANWR for all this time, only because he wanted to use it as a political tool. Palin is obviously pro drilling but McCain is still claiming to be opposed and it doesn’t make much sense. Now he can change his mind and receive great praise for being the hero.
