What a difference a few hours make. It is almost like Sally Quinn was blinded by the light of truth on the road to Damascus. On CNN's "American Morning" on Friday, Quinn repeated her doubts as to whether Sarah Palin could "put country first" due to her family reponsibilities as a mother:
Well, something must have happened in the few hours between Quinn's CNN appearance and her apology for her own statements like this on Fox's O'Reilly Factor later that day:Everyone woman I know practically is a working mother. We have conflicts and guilts that men simply don't have. And, basically the burden of raising children falls on the mother, no matter what kind of a job she has. So, I think that to, you know, we're so far beyond the feminist argument here. This is not about feminism, it's not about sexism, it's simply about can you do the job? One of the things I noticed over this last convention is John McCain, they must have said it 1,000 times, I put my country first. He put his country first. And I think if you're talking about the commander in chief and that is what she is likely to be given his age and his health. Will she put her country first, or will she put her family first?

He beat her up pretty good and I was glad to see it she deserved it.
Sally Quinn was a reporter for the Washington Post who screwed her boss Ben Bradlee as a career move and then parleyed it into marriage and moving along fabricated a hoity-toity social niche leveraged by WaPo’s Watergate coverage.
A whore with a more or less exclusive contract. It sends shivers of excitement up and down the spines of the remitance men and coupon clipping DC-NY arrivestes.
Do tell.....
rotflmao for breakfast.
Thanks, I needed that.
Further down on the page, there’s a link to an article on “Us” Magazine (cover story “Babies, Lies and Scandal”).
Thousands of people canceling their subscription to the magazine.
I’m glad Quinn reconsidered. I hope others in the media have a similar positive revelation.
Unlike John F'n Kerry pulling his SF-180.
She was married to Ben "All the Presidents Men" Bradlee (Washington Post) and is/was the Hostess with the Mostess in Washington.
I Agree.
Her comments that she didn’t understand why McCain didn’t choose Lieberman, “George” Romney (freudian slip?) or Hutchinson were very telling. The left planned for these running mates and considered it would be a slam dunk to defeat the conventional choice. Sarah Palin blew them out of the water.
I think you’re rather uninformed about Down Syndrome. The best thing the Palin family can do for Trig is take him EVERYWHERE The early stimulation and socialization is excellent. Remember, “The First Dude” is also this child’s parent, and I am sure his wife trusts him when she can’t be there. Plus the idea that all babies with Down Syndrome are severely impaired just isn’t true. My Down Syndrome daughter wasn’t any more of a handful than any other baby.
LOL. Where is she working now? Burger King? Spread lies at your own risk. The pajama media is out there now.
They wouldn't get it right anyway.
Best of the morning to you.
Sally is as stupid and biased today as she was yesterday. But she does not want to be the “we hate Sarah” spokesperson.
Now, why didn’t BOR ask her if Edwards could have been POTUS while having to care for his dying wife?
YOU as well,we are kinda keeping a watch on Ike,being in the keys and all.
And they’re still married to one another.
And she told BOR to call her Sally and not MS Quinn.
As a working mother, I tend to agree with you. I just said to my husband last night, “I don’t know how she is gonna do it, but that’s her problem, not mine and she seems to have a plan!”
Some people are more ambitious, successful and can just do more than others (look around any office.) Sarah Palin appears to be one of them. I say, hurray!
Regarding the Drive-Bys, here’s a bit of good news to start off the day with...

Newspaper sales headed below $40B
Newspaper sales fall record $3B in 6 mos.
Perhaps some in the media are beginning to realize that the Democrats have nominated a big bag of wind for president.
