No, I think some of her staffers are pragmatic are realize that ratings equals job security. If Oprah goes down with the sinking Obama, maybe not as many 'Associate Producers' will be needed at Harpo Studios.
Yes, we rarely hear complaints from Oprah staff. Looks like that may change and real details may leak out that don’t portray Oprah as a saint.

My timing was off on my prediction for when Michelle Obama would be engaging in the cat fight of the century. I thought it would occur between her and Mrs. Clinton at the 'Rat convention. I still think it will occur, but now must expand her targets to include Sarah-cuda.

If I’m not mistaken, as long as they are not making a “profit” off the playing of the song, all they need to do is pay the proper royalties to ASCAP. Like a restaurant owner who plays a Sinatra CD for ambience - he doesn’t need to buy the rights, just pay the fee to broadcast it in a commercial setting.

Gee, I guess the moral of the story is that when you are an entertainer, you should keep your views under wraps and treat all candidates equally, since I am sure there are differing political parties within Oprah's audience. Duh!

I have never been an Oprah fan and have only watched a handful of her shows. I hope Sarah goes on Ellen - disagree with her sex life and politics, but she is funny and very nice to her guests. She hates Bush but treated Laura and her daughter very well when they appeared. I kinda doubt Palin will be asked to be on any of those shows because it is obvious she’ll reel in new voters if she does. But, then again, ratings will go through the roof. Libs are in a conundrum here.
