Who gives a s** what color they are, as long as they are legal, American citizens who believe in Conservative values, they could be green for all we care.
It has nothing to do with color. It has to do with national identity and culture. We cannot assimilate the kinds of numbers now coming in, especially since most are poor and uneducated. We are creating a permanent underclass. 87% of the 1.2 million LEGAL IMMIGRANTS who enter annually are minorities who qualify for such things as affirmative action, minority business set asides etc. We are importing poverty. As Milton Friedman said, "As long as you have a welfare state, I do not believe you can have a unilateral open immigration." FYI: Most of the immigrants vote Democrat, which will make them the permanent majority party.
Currently, the out of wedlock birth rates for Hispanics is 50%, topped only by the rate for blacks of 68%. Hispanics and blacks have the highest school dropout rates nearing 50%. In CA one in four students drops out and in LA, it is one in three. This is the social pathology for failure in this society.
