Last Day Folks! Thanks for letting me do the threads.
Last night was GREAT! You can tell by the amount of slime that is being thrown us. Break out the poopcorn, it's going to be another late night!
If you believe that, you are total oblivious to the rapidly changing demographics of this country, primarily due to immigration, legal and illegal. By 2023, minorities will comprise half of the children under 18. By 2039 our population will be 400 million, double what it was in 1970. By 2050, one in five residents of this country will be foreign born. Right now, it is one in eight, the highest in 85 years and in about a decade, it will be one in seven, the highest in our history.
If an amnesty is passed, it will not only legalize the status of 12 to 20 million illegals, but it will also result in an additional 66 to 100 million LEGAL immigrants who will come in via chain migration, i.e., family reunification.
We don’t want liberal pessism around here, we are better than that. We aren’t looking for someone to say “I’m from the government and I’m here to help”, we are voting for a Commander in Chief of the US Armed Forces, and I’ll be damned if I let someone like oBambi get it. (and even if he does, America will survive.)
America may survive but it won't be the same country created by our founders. By 2050 one in three residents of this country will be Hispanic, nearly tripling from the current 46.7 million to 132.8 million per Bureauc of the Census projections.

I dont know about you folks but after two weeks of staying up half the night to watch the Olympics and another week watching the liberals in Denver and then another week watching this convention, I am going to look forward to getting to bed before midnight.
I head heard that McCain was nominated as the chaplain at the Hanoi Hilton due to his understanding of Christian Theology, And that he knew what strength the men could draw from Almighty God.
Anyone else hear that?

Yes. McCain balanced his speech with many topics. As Rove broke down the speech on FOX into the topic areas by paragraphs.

There’s no point in complaining about McCain being McCain tonight. We know what we got there.
McCain’s irrelevant to me at this point. I don’t expect him to make me happy anymore then I would Obama. That’s why I wasn’t voting for either.
Sarah changed that. Sarah’s the unifier, and I anticipate a run in 2012. I’m supporting the ticket because of her. McCain, God willing, is only there for four years till it’s her turn and I’m resigned to having to fight him the way we did Bush on some items. But it’d be worth it to have her follow.
If McCain manages to get better ratings then Biden tonight, he’ll have done his job. This isn’t his type of forum. The debates are where he’ll perk up a bit and Obama’s skill at reading teleprompters will be dented somewhat.
Gretchen Wilson does a great version of that song, I was surprised, didn’t think she had the range.
