The McCain boys and Palin’s son are active duty military. Just curious, is there a reason why they aren't wearing their uniforms? That would have been an awesome touch.

While it would be dramatic, it is not allowed, as I understand it, to campaign for a public official in uniform.

I believe it is forbidden for military members to wear their uniforms to political events.

Interesting question. And it raises more questions. The UCMJ stated we had to distance ourselves from Political activism. I can't remember how it was worded. Has me wondering, what if your Mom is running for VP?
