Pres. Bush was the right man at the right time, and for that, we will always be grateful. As will history: thanks to Pres. Bush, we will have a future in which to write about our past. Beautiful words. Thank you!
To: RoseofTexas
She has that certain peace like Mrs. Bush!

Chill out. . .
I am listening. I don't feel the need to be "entertained" either. What she is saying is amazing. She is just very calm - Laura Bush style. Which I will take any day of the week over the angry woman Obama is married to.

seeing this makes it more clear just how great sarahs speech delivery was yesterday.Sarah definitely has much better timing.
But I think that the reason for her soothing, service tone is playing straight to the middle. That's why Ridge was also softspoken and Graham tried to play tough. They are three strands that are going to come together that will play to what independents want. Not a revolutionary Maverick. But a good, solid, smart guy that they can count on.
Turtle vs. the hare. Not sure it will work. We'll see . . .

aahhh... well... I wish I had some great things to say about the speech by Cindy.
I DO like her, but she isn’t a great speaker - not now, anyway.

Ive always envied bobbed styles. That's what I've got. It's about chin length. I used to have my hair to about the middle of my back, but it was too much work. This way I can still do cute things with it, but without tons of effort.

While not overly dynamic, Cindy’s speech certainly shows her humanity and humble nature. She is thankful for her position in life and her family. She has done more around the world than BO. She will make an excellent first lady.
