They brought trash bins to burn the balloons and confetti in, out back using diesel for starter fuel.

LMAO!

i thought he gave a good speech. He isn’t an attack dog, and we knew that. He is tougher than I gave him credit for though, and maybe he and Gov. Palin will shake up Washington. I am enthused about our ticket and I think we are going to kick butt in November...Obama is too inexperienced and we are in a dangerous time.

when you communicate with active duty Mil you cannot tell , suggest whom to vote for , or shouldn’t.
You can talk about who YOU plan to vote for and why .

And with your speech, you would lose in this current political climate.

McCain's speech was on the money.

He made the case for why he and not Obama is the correct choice to bring change to DC and to be Commander in Chief.

He isn't the orator that Obama or Palin are, but he was genuine and was speaking primarily to the voters in the red states who love their country. My guess is it served its purpose very well.

Let me clue you in. Independents and moderates were bored faster than I was.

this election is now about pretense vs. authenticity

Exactly right. As much as I have had huge disagreements with him, McCain came through as a strong, sincere character with substance. His first act of leadership as the new party leader was to pick Sarah Palin, and I don't think that was just a strategic choice. Obama has been thoroughly shamed by the contrast.

Awesome ending. I’m pleased to see them actually go down and thank these people personally. I do not think the Greek God did that.

McCain’s graciousness contrasted very nicely with the whack job leftist protesters. Hopefully the undecideds will associate the protesters with the Democrats.

Great analysis.

I think it was a speech that said what he had to say in order to address most of the important issues. Only thing I didn’t hear him talk about that Obama Bin Biden will harp on is health care.
