Well then because of men like John McCain you are free to disagree. But don’t bring it here this night. John McCain has earned the right to be heard.
With the current political climate, this is the ONLY way McCain can win this election and counter 4 more years of Bush.
McCain MUST play Mr. Independent here in this speech. He’s doing well.

I agree with you. He looks and sounds like the president. He has communicated the substance of who he is. I think his lack of flash helps show his sincerity. Obama has nothing to match McCain’s substance. I see no scenario where Obama can win more states than McCain. I see no scenario where he takes states that Kerry could not take in 2004. I do see scenarios where McCain takes Pennsylvania, Michigan, and maybe even Minnesota.
I learned there are four styles of Greek columns; Doric, Ionic, Corinthian, and Styrofoam.

Yeah, he is going after the independents. And you know what, I think he’s winning them.
Are you even listening to his speech? He talked about that just a little bit. This man is a hero and you will never doubt he loves this country. May be misguided on some things, but he loves her and her heroes in harms way. Don’t focus on the negs, there is a lot positive to look at here if you are just willing.

Oh spare me the comparisons to John Kerry, that’s just plain silly. Many people don’t know McCain’s POW history and it’s appropriate they do.
Maybe because their exercise their freedom of religion and their religion thinks contraception is immoral? The solution is to secure the border and stop people from entering, period.
