Last Day Folks! Thanks for letting me do the threads.
Last night was GREAT! You can tell by the amount of slime that is being thrown us. Break out the poopcorn, it's going to be another late night!
What time is McCain scheduled to speak? I am scheduled to make calls at our McCain headquarters tonight, and there is a a McCain speech party on my calendar.
Jindal and Palin are going to be the new GOP standard bearers, McCain is merely a transitional figure. The GOP may have some rough times in the immediate future, but the future is bright.
Good think it’s the last night though, I really need to get some sleep!
Aw geez, can we just replay Day 3?
:-)
I think McCain should just have Sarah stand next to him while he gives his address.
Mac will be on at 9PM Central.
Thank YOU for hosting them!!
Tell me about it! I was even more annoyed then usual when the alarm went of this morning.
Let’s Roll.
Good timing. It’ll be right around halftime of the Redskins-Giants game tonight.
I just got a sleep number bed that is too comfortable. I had to shut my bedroom door so I wouldn’t be tempted to lie down because if I did I would have fallen asleep and missed Sarah.
If there was a major chance of violence, it could come tonight!
Everything I’m seeing and hearing says that the anarchists are pretty frustrated that they haven’t been able to get anything big started. I sense that they’ll wanna go out with a large and loud splash.
Law enforcement is everywhere near Xcel Energy Center and there are a lot of ‘em in downtown Minneapolis. I work near several hotels where delegates are staying. The were cops and private security on hand to make sure the delegates could safely board their buses to go to the convention.
It’s hard to say where the anrachists will try to start something. Will they try to blockade the buses as they go in or out of Xcel Energy Center - and risk a large-scale confrontation with the police? Or will they try to disrupt one of the many post-convention parties? Or will they throw nails from the freeway overpasses leading to and from St Paul? They did this last night in Minneapolis.
Folks, it’s not hard to find out where many of these parties are being held. It’s in the newspapers. if it’s easy for me to find out, it’s easy for the anarchists to find out.
Today could be more interesting for what’s gonna happen OUTSIDE of Xcel Energy Center rather than what’s happening inside.
Stay tuned everyone...

Honestly, what do these people think violence is going to accomplish except make their side look like the thugs they are??
I pray everyone is safe. St. Paul is a nice city.
Really. Whose bright idea was it to put Ridge, Pawlenty and Graham on the same lineup? Snore. On the final night fercryingoutloud. Couldn't McCain have just given them a year's supply of Turtle Wax and a case of Rice-a-Roni as parting gifts?
