I’m told by a McCain aide that the teleprompter operator mistakenly rolled through the applause lines throughout the speech. So he rolled over the first two lines of the next paragraph after applause. But she was unfazed by it.
Call your local radio stations. Write Letters to the Editor. Get McCain-Palin bumper stickers and yard signs.
And most importantly.... work your local precincts and take out POLLWATCHING CREDENTIALS for election day (available from any candidate running for office in your area) and get out on the streets and combat VOTE FRAUD, ELECTIONEERING. The Dems are desperate and on the run now. They will try every measure they can to STEAL this election if at all possible.

I had no idea anything happened until I read about it later, though I did see someone being led away during the speech.
I heard they tried to storm the stage or something like that.

VERY good speaker. I did notice her look down at her notes once after a bunch of applause - maybe when the teleprompter was off. But that was the only time I noticed that she was looking at notes.
I think that when someone speaks about something they know, something they believe in, and aren’t trying to pull one over on you - they don’t need to rely on their notes as much.
Breaking News: The Teleprompter operator has disappeared. Sarah Palin was seen picking shredded pieces of a Teleprompter Operators Union t-shirt out of her teeth.

but Palin is the right stuff...it transcends all this gender stuff...although her being quite comely is a plus in the TV age...and feminine too.
