In the most basic terms, we all got to witness the political debut of the first female President of the United States.

Among other things, Sarah Palin compared her past week to McCains time in Viet Nam and decided she had pulled the easier duty. I caught that too, and the way McCain was with Sarah and her family all day, I know he taught them that lesson personally.

The governor from Hawaii was the first person I saw doing it. She held up her hand and made a zero when she was talking about Obama (the obama fans do that to symbolize “O”). The crowd began chanting Zero, zero! and making the zero. They did it through out the rest of the night. I can’t really remember, but it seems like Sarah Palin made some reference to it, too. She was so great with the scarcasm she kept me laughing the whole time.

I have a feeling sometime within the next 20-30 years, we may very well see Mr. Tebow giving a similar speech.

We watched a woman with a natural gift for spoken communication. It can’t really be taught at any college or other institutions, just as the best writers and singers and many other natural talents aren’t products so much of formal training as they are the ones with a natural gift that only a small minority of us possess in any given field.
She also has the charisma and presence to go with her speaking style, which just grabs the listeners attention and holds it as only a few can.

We saw something the Founding Fathers wanted, but which generations of career politicians have pretended to be--an American citizen, one of us, taking it to the entrenched political class.
What you saw was history in the making. Not "identity" politics paraded across your TV screen. You saw someone who IS what 99.999% of politicians PRETEND to be. You saw the Dems and the MSM's worst nightmare--one of the "little people" they pretend to love thinking for herself and not wanting what they're trying to bribe her with.
Good summary. I loved the part in her speech about how Obama says he loves the working class, yet makes fun of them when with his elitists. So true and she needs to repeat it again and again. It will hit home with Joe Public.

Might as well give up Obama/Biden, we gotcha outnumbered one to one.

You saw someone like yourself and your neighbors rise to the highest level of our society pretty much on character and merit alone.
I actually think her quick rise to power, making what the MSM calls a 'lack of experience' a good thing. She is not so removed from real life and real people as career politicians are - she's one of us and doesn't have any pretentions to be anything else.

When Palin first spoke last Friday, I heard it on the radio here in Boston. The two liberal talk hosts were joined by a female liberal caller.
Remember, now--Liberals LOVE "the little guy, the average Joe and Jane, the lunchbox guys and gals".
You want to know what these three liberals' FIRST reaction to Palin's first appearace was?
They were making fun of how Palin's family was dressed--laughing at how they looked like "hicks".
That's the liberal media mindset, like the Obama quote Palin mentioned--they spout care for "the little guy", and then hang with their white wine-sipping elitist snob pals and mock the very people they claim to soooooo care about.

They'll be laughing when those 'hicks' are in the WH!

I LOVE how Sara Palin is being compared to Obama and NOT Biden.
So, what position is she running for? President or Vice-President?
Bwahahahahahahaha!!!!!

I listened to the callers to CSPAN after THE SPEECH tonight. I could hear the fear in the voices of the Tinglers from Obamanation. I went over and scratched the screen and I could SMELL the fear.

Let’s see...Palin as VP. Fred as Sec. of State or Attorney General. Maybe Rudy as AG, or to head the CIA. Put Romney at the Treasury or Sec. of Commerce. Huckabee at HHS.
Probably won’t happen, but I’m feeling a little better about the pubbies.
With Ted Nugent leading Homeland Security, I’ll feel safer.
