OPINION: I hope you find these articles as interesting as I did. I am always amazed that there are so many Americans who do not understand that the GLOBAL JIHAD is just that — global. If one spins their globe at home or school; one can easily see that the U.S.A. in part of this world. There is no exclusion. We are not set apart from the global jihad; nor are we set apart from the GWOT.

Alleged fake lawyer worked terrorism-related case

A man accused of impersonating a lawyer in federal courts around the country testified earlier this year for one of three men convicted in a terrorism-related case, documents show.

Howard O. Kieffer, 53, who currently lives in Duluth, Minn., is facing a Nov. 18 trial in North Dakota federal court on charges of mail fraud and making false statements. He remains free on bail after pleading not guilty in court Monday.

Court documents show Kieffer has participated in federal cases in at least 10 states, including a civil complaint in Florida filed by Kifah Wael Jayyousi, a co-defendant with Jose Padilla and Adham Amin Hassoun, who were convicted of terrorism-related crimes in 2007.

A man has been arrested in Kent under the Terrorism Act, police have said. The man, who has not been named, was held at 0845 BST on Monday in Hawkinge, near Folkestone. He is being questioned at a police station in the county. Police are examining a property in Curlew Place, which has been described as a quiet cul-de-sac. A resident, who lives opposite the entrance to the modern development, said he thought the arrested man was Turkish, and owned a local kebab shop.
