Abel Maldonado (born August 21, 1967 in Santa Maria, California) is a Republican U.S. politician who is currently a California State Senator. He ran unsuccessfully for California State Controller in 2006.[1] Maldonado was the first Republican in the State Senate to vote for the budget during the budget deadlock in 2007. He represents a swing district and is considered a moderate.[1] Prior to serving in the State Senate, Maldonado was a member of the California State Assembly and Mayor of Santa Maria. He achieved financial success as a strawberry farmer.
To: Milhous
Milhous do you happen to know if, like cspan, RNC live feed saves it for viewing later. I will watch Palin, but miss most of the rest. And I really want to hear Michael Steele. Rudy too for that matter.
Last nite I was watching it all on cspan, but it kept pausing, buffering, and then they cut it short and took calls.
I only get CNN and such, no foxnews, and cannot tolerate watching it all on the networks, their coverage is abysmal.

Maldonado publicly criticized Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger for not supporting his campaign more forcefully, suggesting that Schwarzenegger doesn’t care about Hispanics, when he told the Los Angeles Times that “[w]hen [Schwarzenegger] needs Latinos, Latinos are always there for him. When Latinos need him, the answer’s been no.”[

MSNBC.com actually had good recorded video of the speeches last night, and will continue tonight I presume. Ustream.tv will also have them available.
To: ConservativeMan55
I have no idea who she is but my 16 yr old was in the room watching with me and listened to her speech. She did a whoohooo! Then she said “she’s for our side, right?”

Shep really needs to take his hand out of his pants when reporting on “inconsistencies” with Gov. Palin. Why does he still work at Fox?
