Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread - Wednesday 9/3/08
The EIB Network ^ | September 3, 2008 | Rush Limbaugh

Posted on 09/03/2008 8:36:57 AM PDT by TSchmereL

AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, Doctor of Democracy, and Chief of the Patriotism Police. He is the man who runs America. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

"We love to hear Rush Limbaugh,
Excellence in Broadcasting.
From sea to shining sea,
Millions and millions listen.
Conservative voice of freedom,
Heard throughout all America.
A message pure and truthful,
The downhearted are encouraged.
Integrity and honesty his motto.
We love you, Rush.
Listen to Rush Limbaugh.
G-d Bless You, Rush Limbaugh."

“Ahh so contributions made 6 years ago, pefectly LEGALLY, are now a “cloud”?”

The scumbags had to take off that mask of journalistic integrity a little early, didn’t they?

Give ‘em time, they’ll accuse Palin of everything from exhaling carbon dioxide to being a distant relative of Jack the Ripper.

They’re flat desperate, they can see the Big Payday When The Democrats Take Charge slipping away by the minute and there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING THEY WON’T SAY OR DO.

..Going to get rough, folks. Good thing we’ve got a “nasty old sailor” and Sarah Barracuda on our team.

She is EVERYTHING that Democrats have told us for 40 years a woman could be.

She definitely is! And now they want to string her up? Why? Oh yea, BECAUSE SHE ISN'T A BLEEDING HEART LIBERAL!!!!!!

God I hate the media...why do we mention them? They are garbage.

I completely agree. I would love nothing more than to just declare the MSM irrelevant and move on. Every "news" outlet has become just another mouthpiece for one certain political viewpoint.

There are many very pretty women (and girls/ gals who would love to be called that) in this country and in business world who are totally in concert with what Jennifer said in her call. They are discounted by coworkers and others BECAUSE they look good. Horrid! Really, that distresses me in a big way.

(I’m not that sex, by the way, as most here would easily know, but it doesn’t change this observation)

As I may have said up this thread (but certainly in the last couple days) most of those beautiful women eventually become Republican, I believe. Though there certainly some beautiful Dems, they are nearly invariably youngsters.

It just struck me - listening to Sean talk up how great Thompson’s speech was yesterday (I supported Fred) that Gov.Palin has a record and stance on the issues such that, if I were able to vote on it, I would vote for her over Fred - Good as he is, I think Sarah is much better.

However, I would not subject my children to this. This is slime. This is not heroic military service. NO FRIGGEN Comparison. If you were in the US Military you know you get training on how to deal with the dangers. There is no training for this.

My only problem with your line of thinking is where does it stop? Most people on our side who are God-fearing and moral beings will not run for office because of attacks such as the ones being spewed at Governor Palin. God Bless Her that she has the STRENGTH to go into the snakepit and slay a few snakes. I believe that her children will learn a great deal by the way that their mother conducts herself through events such as these and I believe that children are stronger than most parents give them credit for.

IMO, we need MORE Sarah Palins to stand up to the Leftist Media Establishment not less.

And the problem here is NOT the fact that Governor Palin has children that act like children and make mistakes. The problem is that all of these "Time-Honored Traditions", i.e. not coming out publicly on the nomination night of the other guy, not getting the CHILDREN involved, not slamming the President while overseas, etc, are always HONORED by our side but the Leftists have zero qualms about violating these traditions. The Clintons asked the DBM to leave Chelsea alone and they did. They did not give President Bush the same respect. They are now doing their worst to Governor Palin and her chidren, but something tells me that they will come out of this just fine and stronger for it.

This whole episode is really turning me off completely to politics. And I am not the only one. I called friends, co -workers and colleagues from around the Country today and everybody is as disgusted as I am. I really have a lot of trouble with Sarah dragging the Palin family through this.I realize it is her choice but to me it is a turn off and so does everybody I know universally. None of these are LIBS. The negative feelings of McCain also come out. NONE OF these people like Obama one bit and a lot are very professional woman. But I live in a profession that is geared towards “taking the other side of the trade” - I am EXTREMELY used to people pushing back on “my call” as we say in the biz and it is astounding the universal concurrence I see.

I know the superduper anti-abortion people like Palin because it is “in your face” to the pro-choice crowd and if abortion is your main issue I get it sort of. I am not at all with the others around here that see teen pregnancy as a blessed event.

I am also a bit twinged over Rush doing a moral equivalence. It is disgusting but a fact of life that Edwards and Obama and BJ Clinton get a pass on bad behavior but no reason we should get one or even ask.

I cannot stand to watch this tonight.

I think this war needs to be fought without the children. Sarah has them in it.

” What the hell are you doing on this forum?”

Well I am a Conservative that is not single issue - actually more of a Constitutionalist and Rule of Law Person that puts family matters before politics. I am a huge Fred supporter. I am not a Catholic but went to Catholic Schools on and off and think that is a pretty good set of moral guideposts. I am not an evangelical. I am a Veteran that volunteered to fight for the Country. I loath Communists, Socialists AND Populists. I believe very strongly in ALL the amendments to the Constitution - except the 16th and bits of the 11th. And of course the basic document itself - although the Commerce Clause needs to be tightened up and I would like a more restrictive implementation of the enumerated powers clause.. I am in favor of Capitalism and private property and the right of citizens to directly and through representatives to make the laws. I think a person should be able to keep the money they make. There should be no graduated income tax and not capital gains taxes whatsoever. The finances of government should be reconstituted around fee for service except in the case of national defense.

In fact if you actually READ the Constitution you may see where I come from.

Sunnyflorida,

You and I have had some good debates over the issues, but IMO, this is NOT a glorification of TEEN PREGNANCY. I am not sure how many children that you have, but if you have any, you surely know that you cannot control their behavior any more than the LIBERALS try to control our behavior. Kids make mistakes. Period. You try to tell them right from wrong, but they are FREE to make their own choices. The fact that Sarah Palin has a teenage daughter that is pregnant should NOT take away from the fact that she is more than qualified to serve this nation as the United State Vice President.

If you and the people that you deal with are so appalled that Governor Palin and her family CHOSE LIFE then tough! Go vote for someone else or sit home!

Personally, I could not think of a better running mate for McCain then Governor Palin. She is a REAL PERSON who is not afraid to show it. Her family is a REAL FAMILY with real challenges that many families in America have to deal with.

I professed my love to W last night when he spoke at the convention. I will truly miss the man.

I said the exact same thing to my dad tonight. I will MISS George W. Bush when he is not there!
