I saw Fred and thought he was Great.

This speech tonight, wasn't just "Vintage Fred", it was "Vintage Fred" cubed. He isn't on the ticket, because I think deep down inside, he didn't think that *he* as a person had what it takes. Many of us, myself included (he was my first choice), would be willing to tell him otherwise, but in the final analysis, he would have to believe in himself, more than he does.

That being said, it is obvious to me, that he believes in McCain, and in another final analysis, I would have to accept that endorsement for what it is, a man, who I believe would be right for the job, telling me that there is a better choice, whether I can really see it, or not. As much as I wish for what might have been, I will act on Fred's endorsement (though the inclusion of Governor Palin makes that decision more than a bit easier)...

he couldn’t have this speech spoken about himself. I mean, Fred never had experience in the military or tortured as a POW.

Fred’s campaign tuned down because he probably wanted mccain to win.
